"Right now we can see that the total number of votes for the debut stage up until this moment has reached 166,489,505 votes and so, right here, we must thank everyone's support towards the trainees. Citizen Producers, you've worked hard." Yixing said. "Then what are the rankings of the 20 trainees as of this moment? Let us first take a look together at the four trainees who are currently lingering on the edge of debut. Which ones will it be? Please look at the screen."
The four of them were Wenjun, Zhangjing, Zhenghao and Bu Fan. I didn't want to be biased as I really loved all of them and wished they all could debut, so I tried to remain stoic throughout the whole thing. Yixing then told the Citizen Producers to keep voting before continuing presenting.
"In the second evaluation song, <Mack Daddy>, who will be the center?" He said. "Let's take a look at their center selection process."
Yixing and I once again went to the sides of the stage. They then showed the same thing as with the other team. They showed the notes I took down too again making the Citizen Producers laugh and making me feel embarrassed.
Don't put Zhenghao next to Bu Fan if possible if one is the center.
Ask Xingjie what shampoo he uses.
Zhengting: we get it, you have abs.
Qin Fen: Please, don't dab. I beg you.
As the last clip, they had chosen to show when I laughed at Chengcheng's ending. Watching it again made me start laughing as hard as that time. I just couldn't get over it. The same girl as before was recording me again and I looked at the camera imitating what Chengcheng did making her laugh.
The boys then went to the stage to start performing and I calmed down a little so that I could concentrate on the performance. Right from the start their attitude was already perfect. Xukun even smirked to the camera, which made me feel really proud. If only he were as confident off stage as he was on stage...
Bu Fan was again wearing his signature mink, which I hoped would give him as much luck as it once gave him; Linong's rap was really nice and he actually seemed to be enjoying it a lot, which made it look even better; Ziyi's attitude was perfect, he was living the stage and showing his chic yet swaggy side; Xingjie managed to overcome his mic problems and performed brilliantly; Chengcheng also had some microphone problems but still did magnificiently; and the sommersaults made the performance even more unique.
As soon as they finished I stood up and applauded them. I then ran towards the boys and did a group hug with them too. The boys had made sure to leave Chencheng standing right beside me, which let me whisper in his ear without anyone assuming anything.
"You were amazing." I told him. "I know you'll make it to the top nine."
"I love you." He whispered back.
They then all left and I went towards Yixing to continue presenting. I was blushing a little, but it wasn't that noticeable as I had a lot of makeup on for the stage lights.
"Thank you to the trainees for such a wonderful performance. They worked hard. And you've worked hard too, Citizen Producers." Yixing said. "So, after seeing this group's performance, who do the Citizen Producers want to vote for? Okay, I will now remind everyone again that there are twenty two minutes left until the voting channel closes. Right now, is there anything the mentors want to say to the trainees?"
"First of all, I think watching the two group's performances when they came on stage, I just felt... very different; entirely differnt. Because they are now much more determined and much more confident." Teacher Li Ronghao said. "When the 100 trainees first came, there wasn't as much determination or many of them, maybe, couldn't dance well, or couldn't sing well. Today, after watching these performances, I think that every one of them has improved a lot. I am proud of them and I feel like they are my pride. I hope they can continue to work hard."
"Thank you, teacher Li Ronghao." I said. "Time for teacher Ouyang Jin, who was getting hyped up once again."
"I actually want to say first something really important, which is: Can you give your biggest applause to our coolest, very professional host, Zhang PD, and our rookie host, Zhu Lin?" He said and PD and I bowed to everyone while chuckling. "I think that stage just now was really exciting. It made me think of a sentence that we might all already have been brainwashed with: The harder you work, the luckier you are. It's obvious that every trainee has worked very hard, so I think they deserve our respect."
"Thank you, teacher Jin." Said Yixing. "Now for our teacher Zhou Jieqiong."
"Just like what teacher Li Ronghao just said, compared to when they first came the trainees have added strong determination to their gaze. They know what they want and they want to show this."She said. "Also, even though today they showed such a perfect stage, nobody knows the endless practice they went through during daily training. They just wanted to show us this perfect performance. This kind of hard work really deserves our encouragement. Seeing that also makes me very proud because it really is what I want to see in the idol's image. Really, it is very amazing. And also the team spirit I keep emphasizing. They did it, really."
"Thank you, teacher Zhou." Yixing said. "Our trainees' perfect stage would not be possible without the Citizen Producers' support and the help from our teachers. Because of you, they were able to improve and grow."
