"Right now we will be announcing the candidates for center who will also debut as Nine Percent's center." PD said. "Who will he be?"

"Please look at the screen." I said and Linong and Xukun appeared on the screen. "They are A Legend Star Ent. Corp's trainee Chen Linong and Individual Trainee Cai Xukun. The two trainees, please come up to the stage."

After saying goodbye and wishing goodluck to the rest, they came to our side and stood in the center. I then quickly approached them and gave them microphones.

"Please don't keep this going for much longer." Xukun said as he was extremely nervous and we all laughed.

"Okay, okay!" I said surrendering. 

"Chosen through the votes of the Citizen Producers, the trainee who will debut as the center of Nine Percent is..." PD said.

"Nongnong, I want to ask you how you feel right now." I interrupted PD and the boys sighed while Yixing gave me a thumbs up.

"I want to say one thing." Said Linong. "It is just that, no matter who is first place, I think that Nongtang Jiejies really made it. I've also made it. Thank you."

"What about you, Kunkun?" I said putting an arm around his shoulders jokingly.

"Well, first of all there are many things that I want to say to you right now but this is airing live and it wouldn't exactly be decorous." He said and I just laughed. "No, really. "That was really beautiful, indeed." I said. "Thank you for sharing your thoughts but not-so-thank-you to Xukun. I'll keep this in mind."

"Okay, next, who will actually be <Idol Producer>'s Nine Percent male idol group's debuting center?" PD said. "Is he Chen Linong? Or is he Cai Xukun? Let's play an advertisement right now, we will announce it shortly."

I then couldn't help but laugh out loud while resting my forehead on the stand in front of me. This program's announcements were way too cruel to be true.

By the time the ad break ended, I had managed to calm myself down and was back to normal, ready to announce the final winners.

Once Xukun finished hugging Linong he stood there looking at me.

"Thank you, Lin. For everything." He said hugging me extra tightly. "Not just for this, you know what I mean when I say this."

"You need to give your speech. We'll talk later." I said and kissed his cheek before he pulled away.

"Therefore, the second place of Idol Producer's debuting group is Chen Linong, who received a total of 20,441,802 votes from the Citizen Producers." I said before I went to hug him too.

He then hugged me super tightly and I chuckled.

"Don't you want to kick the ass of the old insecure Linong from a few months ago?" I told him.

"You have no idea..." He said and we both chuckled.

"Although you are only one step away from being the center of the debuting group, congratulations for receiving a good result." PD told him. "First, let's welcome Nongnong. Please, talk about your thoughts."
