After chatting with the Day6 boys for a while, I asked them if they could show me their version of <Shoot Me> and they happily agreed.
It sounded even better when they sang it, so I was really happpy that they would be the ones singing it. They made the song completely theirs and it turned out amazing.
When they finished, I applauded them. They quickly bowed to me but I told them to stop.
"Boys, you are older than me. I should be the formal one here." I told them flustered.
"When were you born?" Wonpil asked me confused.
"2001."
"Like Jeongin, right?" He said shocked.
"If you are referring to Stray Kids's Jeongin, then yes." I answered.
"Wait, you know about Stray Kids too?" Jackson asked me.
"Of course I know about them, dummie! I know my groups, you know?" I replied cheekily.
"You two seem to be really close." Sungjin pointed out.
"As close as we can be," Jackson said proudly. "I've changed her nappies more than once, after all."
"Can't you just say we've known each other since I was born? The nappies thing is too much information. Unnecessary information." I said hitting the back of his head.
"Wait, are you siblings?!" Asked a confused Jae.
"Not quite." I replied. "My brother and Jackson were really close friends when they were younger and he was in our house all of the time, so he is pretty much like my brother. Just not by blood."
After that, we chatted for a bit more but they had to start working again, so we decided to leave them alone for them to concentrate.
"What's our next stop?" I asked Jackson cheerfully.
"Twice's practice room!" He exclaimed and we ran like little kids towards the studio.
When Jackson opened the door we were slightly shocked. Both Twice and Stray Kids were inside. Stray Kids was stretching while Twice was packing their stuff.
"Hello, Jackson!" They all said and bowed.
"I see you brought a girl with you!" Said Dahyun. "Is she your girlfriend?"
"Oh, god, no!" Jackson exclaimed horrified.
"Never." I stated.
"Not in a million years!"
"It's nearly incest, gosh!"
"Okay, okay! I was just asking!" She said and they all laughed.
"Hello, everyone. My name is Zhu Lin. Nice to meet you." I presented myself once I calmed down.
They all went to do their groupal and individual greetings but I stopped them before they did them.
"There is no need. I already know who all of you are." I told them.
"You know us?" Chan asked and I nodded.
"Of course! <Hellevator> really impressed me." I told him. "I also really loved when 3RACHA did <Matrioshka> during the program."
"You've seen that too?!" Exclaimed Changbin. "Are you perhaps a fan?"
"You may say that, yes." I said smiling.
"Do you happen to listen to us too?" Jihyo asked me.
"Jihyo, if I hear <Likey> one more time, I will pull my ears out. I think you get what I mean." Jackson stated.
"That's really, cool! Thank you for the support!"Said Jeongyeon." By the way, are you perhaps half Korean or something? Your accent is really good!"
"No, I'm 3/4 Chinese and 1/4 Spanish. That's all." I told her. "But thank you."
"She has a thing for learning languages. She knows many." Jackson told them.
"But I'm only really fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and English."
"And you think that's not much?" Said Minho laughing.
"Do you happen to know any Japanese?" Mina asked me.
"Sadly, I don't." I answered. "I really like the language, but I've never had the chance to start learning it."
"That's a pity..." Said Momo. "You should try to learn it sometime."
"I'll try, don't worry."
After that little chat, Twice left and Stray Kids were about to begin rehearsing, so we also decided to leave. That was until <Hellevator> began playing and I quickly sat down to watch them.
While they practiced, I did the dance to the chorus while sitting. For the rest of it, I only muttered the lyrics and focused on the performance, trying to remember as many steps as I could. The dance was amazing and I really loved it, but I never got the chance to learn it.
When they finished, I stood up and applauded them.
"That was amazing!" I said stressing out every word.
"I saw you dancing along to the chorus. Did you try to learn it?" Felix asked me.
"It's just from the many times I watched the video. I've actually never stopped to learn it." I explained.
"If you want, maybe we can teach it to you!" Hyunjin suggested and they all agreed.
"Can I?" I asked Jackson.
"Do you have to do anything else today?" Jackson asked me and I shook my head. "Then do whatever you want. I need to go, though, so I'll leave you guys alone. Give me a call when you're finished."
After that, he said goodbye to the boys and left.
"Whose part are we going to teach her?" Jeongin asked.
"Just a mix of them all is okay." I told him. "But whatever you want is okay."
"Let's do that, then!" Woojin said.
After that, we started working. They were all really friendly and helped me whenever I got stuck in a certain movement.
Around half an hour later we had already finished. As I already knew the dance to the chorus, it shortened the learning process by a lot.
"Let's do it all together now, shall we?" Chan suggested. "Lin's the tenth member now!"
We then did the entire dance. It felt amazing to dance alongside them. Instead of doing it seriously, though, they kept messing around.
After doing it, I went to the side to rest for a bit and someone suddenly put a bottle in front of my face. Looking up, I saw Seungmin with a warm smile.
"Here, you seem tired." He said and I thanked him before taking it.
