Silvery moonlight poured into a room through an open window, an autumn breeze lazily accompanying it. The sound of passing vehicles could be heard outside along with the faint chatter of Parisian passersby. It was 2:44am.

Due to the continuous breeze, the room was a bit chilly. It didn't look like much since it was bare. White walls, a decent closet, and a generic wooden floor. It was an average 11" x 12" room with the potential to be whatever the new owner wanted it to be.

New owners.

A family of four had just moved in; a father, mother, brother, and sister. Both parents worked together as financial analysts. Their daughter and son were students; high school and elementary, respectfully.

"So, kids, what do you think?" F/N asked as he set the two suitcases on the floor. "I know it doesn't look like much but just give it time. It'll look like home before you know it." He took a few steps into the living room area, the remaining three of the quartet would branch out into whatever room appealed to their curiosity.

"Everything looks alright, just like when we went through the first tour of the apartment. I'm just glad our stuff will get here faster than the last time we moved." M/N ran a finger through the kitchen bar. "It's clean, just empty and boring. I think you guys will like it. Like Dad said, it'll look like home in due time."

B/N only heard snippets of his parents' speech before running into a room and declaring it his. "Dibs," the young boy exclaimed. "I can't wait to decorate this room. It's going to look so cool with my posters and stuff." B/N set his suitcase down and wandered around the room, already visualizing the future details of his room.

Finally, Y/N opened the door to her room. It was cold. Moonlight was shining into the room. It all seemed very 'picturesque', not unlike the cheesy movies her mother watched. It was odd but it was whatever. Y/N always managed to make it her own in the past. She sat down by the window and stared at the ceiling for a few minutes...before reaching for her phone.

Y/N's memory went back hours before her family arrived at Paris. Her mother had spoken about their school but Y/N didn't pay too much attention till now.

"Collège Françoise Dupont, hm?"
