A/N: This takes place once y'all are a couple cause that's cute. Anyway, happy spooky season, everyone! I did costumes + costume party last year, so this is just headcanons if you two went to a haunted attraction.
🐞 Marinette 🐞
- Right off the bat, it was agreed that Y/N and Marinette were going as Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune!
- Originally, their date plans were to sit in, help around in the bakery, and watch scary movies.
- However, Marinette hates scary movies so that plan went out the window real quick.
- They both spent some time handing out candy and helping Marinette's parents out in the bakery.
- Alya and Nino dropped by and happened to invite them to go to a haunted house.
- "You know, like a double date", Alya insisted.
- Marinette was hesitant but as a certified simp, she obliged to make Y/N happy.
- When they all got to the haunted house, Alya and Nino dipped, leaving Y/N and Marinette alone.
- "It's not that scary, Y/N. You can hold my hand if you get scared."
- Y/N stifled a giggle and held Marinette's shaking hand as they made their way through the dimly lit haunted house.
- Marinette was ready to jump at whatever noise she heard, no cap.
- A disembodied growl? Y/N, please walk faster. A wicked cackle from behind? Marinette would hold Y/N's hand just a bit tighter.
- "I think we're close to the exit, Marinette. Hang tight." Y/N kissed her girlfriend as they followed the arrows on the floor.
- After walking for god knows how long, Marinette had become less afraid of the haunted house and stopped holding Y/N's hand.
- "It's totally cool, Y/N! I wasn't scared at all."
- Stop the cap, Marinette.
- It was only after they had passed the hall of creepy, broken mirrors that they both felt like they were being watched.
- Marinette kept looking back while Y/N insisted they were close to the exit.
- While Marinette was watching their backs, she was caught off guard when they bumped into a particularly tall, burly person wielding a prop chainsaw.
- Their eyes went wide as the stranger raised the chainsaw, revving it as he got closer.
- Marinette quickly grabbed Y/N's hand and ran like lightning in the opposite direction.
- After being chased by the chainsaw dude and some other scare actors that spotted them, Marinette and Y/N were able to make their way out.
- Alya and Nino were already waiting for them, amused after seeing the other couple run out, huffing and puffing.
- As soon as her heart was beating at a good pace, Marinette pulled Y/N close and kissed her cheek.
- "You're lucky I love you. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to forgive you", she teased.
🐱 Adrien 🐱
- I know I always say this, but if by some miracle Adrien manages to convince Gabriel to let him hang out at a haunted house even with his bodyguard, then god bless.
- After last year's Halloween, Y/N and Adrien wanted to plan out their costumes but as a couple.
- Maybe it was kind of a cheesy decision but they both opted for James Bond and a Bond girl.
- Was it an excuse to see Adrien in a suit? Maybe.
- Did it work? Most definitely, to Y/N's giddy delight.
- It wasn't just Y/N, though. Adrien definitely enjoyed seeing Y/N in an equally kickass, eye catching costume.
- Regardless, Y/N was already waiting for Adrien at the haunted house when he got dropped off.
- The two teens made their way into the haunted house.
- Y/N held Adrien's arm, her eyes darting everywhere where a potential scare actor could be hiding.
- Adrien held Y/N close as they walked, amused by his girlfriend's rising anxiety.
- Being the tease he was, Adrien stopped abruptly and pulled her even closer.
- "Did you hear that, Y/N?"
- Damn the power of suggestion, cause Y/N was convinced she could hear what he pointed out.
- Adrien held back the simp within and continued along the path with Y/N holding his hand.
- "So, Adrien, hypothetically speaking..." Y/N whispered as she looked around.
- "Yes, m'lady?" Adrien maneuvered them around the cobwebs and tombstones.
- "I'm not scared but hypothetically speaking, what if I was?" Y/N looked at his handsome features and was temporarily comforted.
- Adrien chuckled and kissed her forehead
- "What else is there to do, m'lady? I'd protect you."
- It was a comforting thought for Y/N up until they reached a dead end.
- "Funny, there should be a door here", Y/N looked around but there was no door.
- As they turned around, a couple of scare actors came out from curtains and thick cobwebs, cornering the couple.
- True to his word, Adrien turned to 'protect' his girlfriend but she was already in front of him, holding his hand still.
- The sounds of roaring chainsaws, bloodcurdling growls, and rattling chains were overwhelming until Adrien's bodyguard caught up with them and managed to get them to the exit.
- After leaving the haunted house, Adrien approached Y/N and sat next to her on a haystack. "I thought you were scared. Why did you put yourself in front of me like that?"
- Y/N laughed. "I was faking it, handsome. I just like it when you hold me close- don't let that go to your head."
- The simp has been released; Adrien pulled her close and kissed her. "Too late."
