Y/N's first Saturday in Paris was not how she expected it to be.
Contrary to what her parents had told her, they would not be spending the day unpacking but instead, the L/Ns would be going to Le Grand Paris. Apparently, Y/N's parents managed to get jobs at the same place. That wasn't the only kicker. Y/N's parents would be working for the owner of Le Grand Paris who was also the mayor of Paris.
So, there she was, waiting in the lobby with her little brother. Y/N didn't really mind this since she was just on her phone and her little brother was busy with his portable game console. Her parents said she'd just have to wait a little while they went over all the boring formalities.
It wasn't until Y/N heard the sound of cacophonous exclamations getting closer to the lobby. She inched closer to her brother protectively while he just looked up to her for some sort of explanation.
Finally, the source of the noise was revealed two girls in very weird costumes. One of them was a bespectacled redhead in a domino mask and black...catsuit? The other girl's costume was even more peculiar. She was a bleach blonde dressed in what appeared to be a ladybug suit. She also had a domino mask in the same print.
Y/N assumed that both girls caught on to her staring at them since they both turned around. While the catsuit clad girl just stared curiously at Y/N and her younger sibling, the blonde glared at them. "Can I help you", the blonde asked in an impudent tone.
Oh, great...a brat.
"Um...no? I just didn't know there was a cosplay convention." Y/N didn't look away from the girls, and at this point, had let go of her brother after seeing there was no actual threat.
"Excuse me? Do you know who my daddy is? He wouldn't stoop as low as to hold stupid, little costume conventions here!" The mere suggestion had greatly offended the blonde, apparently but Y/N was already putting the pieces together.
The overbearing sense of entitlement.
The tragically short temper.
Recklessly throwing her father's status.
"Hm...I take it you're Mayor Bourgeois' daughter, Chloé Bourgeois, right?" Y/N asked after finally putting two and two together. A satisfied smirk played on Chloé's lips after receiving her acknowledgement. "Yes, I am. Who are you? I haven't seen you around."
"I'm Y/N L/N. My parents are M/N and D/N. I think they'll be working for your dad as his financial analysts." Y/N shrugged. Chloé's eyes immediately lit up like Christmas trees. "Is that so? That's great!" Before Y/N knew it, Chloé had taken a seat right next to her, with her red headed friend by her side. "My daddy told me about some new people coming in and doing whatever but I don't mind cause the last guy messed with our finances, so I just hope your parents do a good job." Chloé grinned in Y/N's face.
Y/N chuckled. "That's funny. It almost sounds like a threat." Chloé rolled her eyes. "It's a promise, L/N." With that, the blonde socialite stood up and began walking away.
The H/C haired girl grinned playfully. "Don't worry, I'll let you know what's going on. We'll be seeing more of each other later." Chloé turned around, arms crossed. "What makes you say that?" Y/N looked up from her phone to face her. "You go to the Collège Françoise DuPont, don't you?"
Chloé nodded. "Yeah, obviously." Y/N's grin turned into one of a satisfying victory. "Well, I'll see you Monday." Chloé groaned in irritation but sauntered away, redhead friend in tow.
A/N: Guys, this chapter was trash. I've no idea how to write for Chloé but here we are. Anyway, if you like it, please comment or vote! Love you all!
