It had been a couple of hours since school came to its daily end and Y/N had no idea what to do. She decided to take a stroll and maybe check out that little park that wasn't too far from her new home. After all, she had some time before her parents would get home.
A million things came to the girl's mind like unpacking, finishing the homework that had been assigned, or even contacting her friends back home, but for some odd reason she didn't feel like doing any of that. It all seemed like too much work and quite frankly, Y/N couldn't be bothered to deal with the time difference.
After a while of walking and mild sightseeing, Y/N arrived at the park. She sat at the fountain and observed her surroundings. There were people everywhere, but it didn't bother her. They were so content with whatever they were doing. Parents played with their kids and other people just walked around enjoying the lovely spring day. After looking around, there was no doubt in Y/N's mind that she'd warmed up to her new home.
Time had passed since Y/N first got to the park and consequently, Y/N had not paid attention to the coming and goings of other people- not that it was her job, but that's besides the point. She had been taken out of her state of dissociation when somebody tapped her shoulder.
Y/N looked up and faced a blond boy with vaguely familiar face. "Um, yes? May I help you?" The young stranger looked rather embarrassed to interrupt her but, alas, he couldn't help it- he had a job to do.
"Hi. Sorry to disturb you but we're about to do a photo shoot and my photographer", the pretty boy directed her attention to the impatient looking photographer that stood a few paces behind him. "My photographer insists we shoot here. I'm sorry."
Y/N took turns glancing at the boy and the photographer before focusing on the boy. "Yeah, sure, no problem." She gathered her things and began walking away when the boy spoke up once again. "Hey, by any chance do I know you?"
"I doubt it. I'm new here," Y/N said. "I go to a school not too far from here." The blond boy's green eyes seemed to light up after hearing that. "The College Francoise Dupont", he asked to which Y/N replied with a nod. "So you're the new girl." He smiled just a tad bit. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Adrien Agreste."
"I'm Y/N L/N. It's nice to meet you too, Adrien. I also thought you looked familiar." Y/N smiled faintly. She looked back at the photographer and the set that had been placed. "This is what you do after school? Cool." Adrien scoffed, but kept a light grin on his face. "I guess. It gets boring, though. Especially when my photographer loves to nitpick, but he's a good guy."
As if on cue, said photographer called out for Adrien. He said something about "places to be, and photos to shoot." Adrien turned back and waved goodbye to his new acquaintance. "It was nice meeting you, Y/N. See you at school." Y/N smiled back and waved goodbye. "See you at school, Adrien. Bye."
Just like that, the two parted ways. They'd meet again, surely.
