Feelings were never something that Chloé really knew how to express. If it wasn't blatant displeasure or anything negative, Chloé wasn't one to openly display it.
Of course, there were some 'good' moments. For example, if her Daddy got her something she said she wanted, or if Adrien didn't hesitate to hug her, she considered that to be good. Since her dad usually always entertained her wishes, Chloé appreciated Adrien's rare reciprocal of affection.
That's what was part of the problem, too. Adrien had a very important place in her heart but with everything that's happened with Y/N as of late, she was, for the first time in a long time, reconsidering things.
Chloé was used to things being easy in life. She never wanted for anything. That changed once she befriended Y/N. Y/N was just so irritating with the way she'd always mess with Chloé and leave her questioning everything. All Chloé wanted with Y/N was clarity.
Why did Y/N tease Chloé so much? Chloé 'observed' that Y/N had no qualms flirting with people since it was her playful nature, but it sucked whenever Y/N flirted with her. Chloé usually put stock into the things Y/N would say, so she wasn't too sure what to do with her taunting remarks. Not only that, but she didn't know if Y/N was serious or leading her on.
If she was leading her on, Chloé figures she'd just tell Y/N to cut it out and Y/N would normally obey if it really bothered Chloé. However, if Y/N was actually flirting with her then it meant that maybe Y/N actually liked her?
"Jean-Claude, why is everything so difficult", Chloé asked before flopping on her bed.
Her butler mentally prepared himself for whatever he'd have to explain to Chloé. "What do you mean, Mademoiselle?"
Chloé began pacing the floor back and forth. "Well, Y/N is always flirting with everyone but I know she doesn't mean it and she flirts with me too. Of course, how could she not since I'm totally one of the cutest girls around but it's really confusing because I don't know if she's serious or not. If she's not serious about it, it feels like I'm being led on but if she's totally serious, then it means she acknowledges the fact that I'd be an amazing girlfriend but every time I think about her in a way other than friendly, I just feel super weird..."
Jean-Claude, or whatever his name is, had since then tuned out of her rant. He only needed to hear the first part to know what the problem was. He suppressed an exhausted sigh and glanced at her. "Have you tried calling her, Mademoiselle?"
Chloé stopped in her tracks and looked at him with a blank stare before she having an epiphany. "That's it! I'll call her! I'll call her and tell her meet me here, then I'll confront her! Jean Whatever-Your-Name-Is, you're a bonafide genius!" She hugged him before dragging him out of her room.
Chloé threw herself on her bed and quickly started dialing Y/N's phone. She grinned when she heard her pick up. "Y/N, meet me at the rooftop ASAP. There's something super important we need to discuss."
