- Ever since the day at the mall, Y/N has had the mental capacity of a wet sock whenever Marinette is nearby.
- Imagine a watered down version of Marinette around Adrien (minus the stalking).
- It was easy to keep her cool around Marinette.
- Hanging out and having friendly conversations? Total piece of cake.
- Controlling a flushed face and an unavoidable stammer whenever the blue eyed belle glanced at her? Not so easy?
- It just felt different when Y/N felt Marinette's eyes linger on her a bit longer or when she'd laugh more at Y/N's jokes.
- She felt like dough in Marinette's hands, her heart being kneaded skillfully by the pretty baker.

- Y/N wondered if her hearing had messed up for a second.
- It almost sounded like Adrien said "I love you" before hanging up.
- Her previously sleepy brain could only think about her friend's slip-up.
- Adrien had a knack for hanging up too quick but it never really bugged her, but she couldn't help but want to call him back.
- If she did, would it look like she had heard him and spent time thinking about it?

- Marc casually asked about the day Nath and Y/N went to the roller skating rink.
- Then, he asked about the ice cream they got at Andre's cart.

- She figured Marc knew about her and Nathaniel's casual flirting.
- "What did Nathaniel tell you, Marc?"
- "Just enough for me to ask the right questions", Marc mused.
