Okay so, Friday afternoon at the Louvre was scrapped. Nathan, Marc and Y/N all went to an open art gallery instead. Nathan and Marc had seen this on a flyer at school and saw this as a perfect opportunity to showcase their comic book and to also get to know Y/N a bit more and get her to tag along.

After getting snacks and setting up their little art booth, Marc and Nathaniel decided to take turns watching the booth. One person would start by manning the booth and the other person would just walk around the gallery and look around. Nathaniel decided to hold the fort down with Y/N while Marc looked around the gallery.

Once he took a seat, Nathan began sketching quietly. Occasionally, he would look up from his sketchbook to check on Y/N. He wouldn't really tell Y/N this but he kind of hoped she'd be something close to the 'face' of the booth.

As Y/N sat down and read the latest issue of their comic book, Nathaniel got a chance to really look at her. He gave it some thought and smiled to himself. "Hey, Y/N?"

"Yeah?" Y/N looked up from the comic book she was reading and faced Nathan. "Do you need anything?"

"I was thinking and I had an idea that I wanted to run by you. Marc and I, we really enjoy your company and your input into the comic book. It's always really good to have another perspective, especially in a project like this. How would you like to be our um," He stumbled temporarily through his words, not wanting her to misconstrue anything he said. "Our face. Like a representative and consultant."

Y/N's blank stare turned into one of happiness. "You guys want me to be a consultant and a representative for your book? I'd love to. Thank you, Nath." It was great to know that the guys enjoyed her company and wanted her to be part of their project. "I feel like good things are coming."

After some more time had passed, Marc came back with a small carry tote and a huge grin. "They're just some things I bought for us. We're going to need them. They're a surprise but you guys should go and take your break now. I can hold down the fort." He waved them goodbye as Nathaniel and Y/N headed off.

"So, he seems to be in a good mood, huh?" Y/N asked as she and Nathan walked through the extensive line of booths. She looked at some of the art and handmade trinkets that were being sold. Everything looked so pretty and well made.

"Yeah, I wonder what the surprise is. Sorry about that- I should've asked him before leaving but I'll do it before we all go home. I'm sure he'd say yes anyway but still..." He trailed off from what he was saying when he got distracted by the some of the art around them. "Sometimes, i wonder if Ladybug is somebody we know."

Y/N had only started learning more about Ladybug the longer she stayed in Paris. If she wasn't talking to Ladyblog leader, Alya, then she usually got to see Ladybug in action whenever somebody akumatized. The fact that Ladybug was always nearby to save the day, especially near the school, would make sense with Nathan's theory. "Hm, you're right. I mean, I don't know everybody at school yet but do you think she could be one of the students?"

"It would be crazy if she were", Nathan chuckled as he continued sketching. "Can you imagine? I've had a crush on Ladybug for the longest time ever since she deakumatized me. I don't know how I'd react if she was a classmate of mine."

"Wait- you have a crush on Ladybug?" Y/N was a bit surprised, kind of confused but not really displeased. All sorts of ideas ran through her head. If he had a crush on Ladybug, and his comic book was all about Ladybug and Chat Noir's adventures with Mightilustrator and Reverser from Ladybug's perspective, then that meant that Marc saw Nathaniel as more than a friend.

"Okay, so I see the gears turning in your head. Marc is writing from Ladybug's perspective and in this universe, Ladybug has affection towards Mightillustrator. We've talked about it, and Marc did have a crush on me but I guess he's grown out of it. But yeah, I have a crush on Ladybug. It's kind of embarrassing." Nathaniel covered his face with his sketchbook as face turned bright red.

Y/N giggled. "Don't worry. If I'm honest, I think Chat Noir is kinda cute too. It's not embarrassing at all." She ruffled his hair and linked her arm through his upon his invitation.

"Chat Noir?" Nathan playfully scoffed. "I mean, he's good looking but he's got nothing on my Ladybug. But if he's what you're into, go ahead."

The two teens laughed amongst themselves as they continued walking past the booths.
