Leah slows to a walk now she was close to the rogues settlement. Losing the men had been nearly as easy as it usually was, the only complication being her mate. She had to focus a lot more to mask her scent from him and she hadn't been confident of her success until he didn't follow her. Her nose fills with the stench of the rogues and their torture. Thoughts of her mate, her brother, her friends drift to the back of her mind, locked up under safe key to be revisited afterwards. Now was the time for duty. She could not allow distractions.
She walks with sure steps down a trodden path, leading into a secluded clearing. The rogues settlement.
Her hips sway as she enters the centre square, capturing all the males attention. They eye her hungrily with their dead eyes. Licking their lips before showing their yellow teeth in creepy smiles of anticipation. "I am obligated to give you one chance only, to stop this now! Leave this path and return to Goddess' way of life. Take this chance to change your lives and receive her forgiveness or be prepared to meet her shortly to grovel in person at her feet!" Leah calls out loud enough to ensure all hear her.
Snarls are the first response to her words. Followed by mutters of 'damn chosen daughters'. Then comes the predictable reply, "And I'm obliged to inform you, dear daughter of the Goddess, that if you bend over and present that pretty ass willingly, freely for us, it'll hurt so much less than when we strip and take you forcefully!"
Chuckles follow his words. Most surprisingly they come from Leah too. The rogues watch her warily. "Your not the first to state such things ... you rogues are so predictable!" Growls surround her "And you won't be the first to fail enacting them! It's always so damn easy to send your souls to the Goddess' feet!" She raises her hands up in mock surrender and waves them across to indicate all the rogues "Am I correct in assuming none of you want to take your one chance?! Be warned you can not accept it in a few minutes time when your companions are dying around you!" More growls meet her words. Leah shrugs her shoulders slightly, then she springs.
She moves so fast the first few rouges are dying on the floor before the rest even realise she is attacking them.
Her fists blur.
Her claws slice.
Her legs kick.
Each move sending the men flying backwards. More and more drop to the floor dying as she systematically works her way through their numbers. The surviving rogues watch her with gaping mouths or stare at their comrades dying on the floor.
How is this happening?!
How is she so fast?!
They never receive the answers, instead they join their companions bleeding on the floor, still wondering about them. The last handful try to run but Leah races after them. They are no match for her speed. When she can no longer see any more opponents she goes through each hut to make sure none are hiding. Finding none her eyes scan the clearing, searching, counting. Dropping to a knee she opens her minds eye again to see two rouges running in Marie's direction and a third in the opposite direction to the west. Immediately she mind links Marie with the information.
Turning her attention finally to the women she slowly approaches them "I'm Leah" she introduces herself her voice soft. She goes to the four missing Eclipse women knelt and tied up on the floor first "you must be Macey you look just like Tammy" she tells the first woman while undoing their binds, shifting her attention to the next woman "so that will make you Helen" both women nod "are you Zara or Lauren?" She asks the next. The women visibly relaxing with her through out the introductions "Will you help me, to help them?" She asks nodding her head to the other women, the four nod immediately "Thank you."
Together they free the poor women bound and abused in the centre and another two come out of hiding to help. "Partner up and we'll all help each other to leave this retched place! We will be heading east towards a checkpoint where your future Alpha and a medical team wait." Leah tells them all, directing the last bit to the four missing Eclipse pack members.
The ten women nod their heads, tears blearing their eyes. With that they start for the checkpoint.
