Chapter 48*N

Amber and Kate are sitting in a quiet secluded corner of the garden talking to Maya and Rose. From their expressions ranging from worry to annoyed to pure anger it was obvious to any around that their conversation was serious, that however, never stopped Arron and Matt from approaching them. In fact they never even took notice of the emotions the four women were showing before rudely interrupting them. "Amber. Kate" Arron says to grab the women's attention "Rose" he adds noting her presence, he glances at Maya but he says nothing to her. Maya purses her lips for a second before scrunching up her face in distaste "excuse me, i need to have a chat with someone I see, we'll finish this conversation later girls" she tells them quietly while she gracefully gets to her feet "Hang on Maya I'll come with" Rose joins her. Amber and Kate sigh annoyed with the interruption and glance up at the men "yes?" "need something?" Amber and Kate ask at the same time, turning to look at each other, their surprise turning to smiles. Arron frowns while Matt questions "since when do we need something to talk to you?" Movement from the corner of their eye catches their attention.

Arron and Matt growl softly. All the near by men had become alert and was watching the two future leaders of the Balsamic pack closely. Some were even moving closer just in case. Amber and Kate are warmed by the display, the lads not so much. "I'm getting sick of this!" Matt mutters, while Arron growls glaring at the men who made no pretence about moving closer to protect Amber and Kate "leave!" He commands them, "nah! We're good!" One man replies "go back to what you was doing!" Arron commands again with an angry growl "we have done nothing wrong for this behaviour!" Matt spits out in frustration, angry growls reply.

As the tension quickly builds Amber and Kate start to stand up "we're just gonna ... go o.." Kate starts to mutter
"Sit back down!" Arron demands
"Don't speak to them like that!" An angry male shouts at him
"Screw you!" Arron growls out glaring at the man
"This isn't necessary they're our friends!" Matt declares
"Yet they wish to leave your company, to ensure they're somewhere safe just in case things here escalate and your future Alpha is barking at them ordering them to sit!!"
"They are my pack members!" Arron growls angrily
"Not yet we're not! Your not Alpha yet Arron!" Michael calls out stepping forth bringing Matt and Arron's full angry attention onto himself while Amber and Kate quickly and quietly move away from the future Balsamic pack leaders and into the protective midst of Eclipse pack males.

Michael shakes his head sadly at his once friends "I don't know who you are anymore! The men I was proud to call my friends and future leaders would never behave and treat people this way! At least I never thought they would!" Seeing the girls were safe he steps back amongst the crowd as Chris made his way through to them. His anger palpable "I'm fast losing patience with you pair!! The only reason I'm displaying the patience I am is because of Leah, but anymore issues and you are off my lands!!"
