Immediately Leah starts taking measured steps backwards, while opening the mind link to her pack mates "don't get in the way! Ensure the others know too!"
Arron barely nods to tell her he's passed on the message. Chris looks at her from the corner of his eye in acknowledgment.

They all take steps out of her way. "No mercy! No chance! Not for you!" She snarls, her eyes resembling molten silver. The acting voice box starts to laugh. That laugh soon dies in his throat. Suddenly Leah is running and springing forward into the air. Her claws out and sharp.

As she flys past the first two rogues blood splurts into the air. Their bodies falling to the ground their necks torn open, as she slams into a third feet first claws plunged into his neck either side. As his body starts to collapse, she uses it as a spring board flying through the air once again. Two rogues on the outer edges try to turn and run but are stopped by the accompanying Eclipse warriors.

Out of the three rogues holding the children hostage the two stood to the sides release their holds on the kids in shock and fear of Leah. As soon as their feet hit the floor the two kids run. Arron scoops up the little girl who ran to him and flings her back towards Michael who moves to the back of the group clinging tightly to the little girl trying to comfort her. At the same time Chris catches the little boy and throws him backwards towards Ant, who deftly catches the boy and moves with Michael to the back.

Leah's boot connects with one rogues jaw with a deafening crack his head flings backwards as the man staggers, struggling to stay on his feet. She manages to set course for the rogue holding the last child hostage.

Jumping while the claws of her left hand pierce his neck as she slams hard into his back. His closest hand raises scrabbling at hers as her claws sink deeper. Chris' eyes widen with alarm zeroing in on her hand. Her right arm reaches for his arm that holds the child, securing a good grip before wrenching backwards on it. His bones creak and crack. His muscles tear. His throat rips out agonised screams of pain.

The little girl lands at his feet. Frozen she stares up terrified. Chris calls to her. Coaxes her out of her fear to run towards him. Her little legs work hard to carry her quickly to him. He scoops her up and prepares to toss her backwards but she clings to him sobbing. His face softening he holds her close, tucking her head into his neck as he coos in her ear that she's ok, she's safe. All the while his eyes watch Leah.

Out of the corner of her eye Leah can see Chris comforting the little girl. Looking so natural as he holds her. Her little body relaxing in his arms as coos in her ear. The way her little fists hold tight to his top, clinging to him for safety. Leah pushes those thoughts away, now was not the time. Quickly she finishes the rogue whose back she's perched on before attacking the next closest.
