Barely fifteen minutes later with the several fear induced whimpers still sounding in the air, Leah's temper snaps. Knowing the Eclipse pack members present were securely surrounding the injured women and confidently entrusting their care to them, Leah turns snarling at her hair-brained, prideful, idiot of brother Matt "Want me to teach you here and now or wait till there's a cushioned mat for you to fall on?" she sneers.

Matt glares at her.

"What lesson would that be? How to betray your own? To side with rogues?!" He snarls back.
"Betray my own? I've betrayed no one!"
"You betrayed me!"
"How?"
"You insulted me while praising a rogue!! Where is he now? Huh?! You went off alone with him, tell me why?"
"I never praised Jack and if you feel insulted by my words earlier you should right your ways!!" Leah snarls angrily.

Although feeling too stubborn to back down, something niggled at the back of Matt's consciousness. A niggle that nagged he is in the wrong. He ignores it as he feels Arron move to stand beside him, a sure sign of support.

"Right my ways?" He asks incredulously "Oh, are they so wrong now?" He bites out his words glaring at Leah. "Yes! More so than you obviously realise!"
"You are the one defending rogues! Walking off with them! Sending them on their merry way! And I'm the one to have lost my way?!"
Leah raises her eyebrows "who is a rogue Matt?"
Matt frowns before he scoffs "Everyone know a rogue is a wolf wit.." his voice trails off as Leah shakes her head and interrupts
"You don't even understand a simple question Matt, how would you possibly understand the answers your after?"
Matts frown deepens "What the fuck is that meant to mean?!"
"I would explain .... but it would be a waste of my time and breath! At least at this point of time; it would seem your much too limited to be able to understand!"

An angry growl erupts from Matt.

An equally angry roar answers.

Leah turns to see Chris standing off to the side, Michael and his warriors standing behind him wearing expressions that range from nervous worry to hard anger. What shocks Leah more than the time they have made catching up with them so quickly, which is a surprising feat but is nothing compared to the shocking amount of anger burning in Chris' eyes and written across his face.

Michael warily watches his pack mates, as his future Alpha and future Beta stand in opposition to a powerful chosen daughter, and hesitates not sure what he should do. To be honest he was confused on all of it.

He knew what the situation was; Chris made a point of informing them all as to why they needed to pick up the pace and rejoin the others as quickly as possible. He'll admit, he was really hoping it was just the animosity between Chris, Matt and Arron and his words weren't true, that his future Alpha and Beta, his friends would not cause such a situation, such additional stress to these women, that they would care so little about how their actions are creating fear and adding themselves to the list of monsters and men these women fear! But he could see for himself Chris' words were true, his concerns necessary, they had after all arrived in time to be hearing Matt and Leah's exchange of heated words.

It wasn't escaping his notice how the Eclipse warriors, have altered their positions trying to surround the women more, trying to reassure them, trying to make them feel safe, trying to protect them - from his pack members! That fact disappointed him as much as it concerned him. When did they become considered threats?! When were they the ones so unreasonable as to frighten women who had been through enough!

He could see where Matt and Arron stood, to a point, but knew Leah would have a good reason for her decisions. More than anything he was getting worried, he knew the same could be said for Matt and Arron, they were worried too. However, while they worry about Leah's recently increasing attitude and behaviour towards them, he is worrying about the why? Did she know something they didn't?! Did she see them straying from their destined paths?! Her words now suggests, that was indeed the case.

Unable to decide on what action to take, after all this was his future Alpha and Beta and if Arron's side glares at him, were anything to go by it was definitely seen as whose side to chose, at least by him. So Michael decides the best thing to do is the right thing; to protect the women they were trying to rescue. The injured women who had been through enough. The women Matt had been scaring! The women both Matt and Arron continue to scare! These thoughts cemented his determination, to turn away from the man he was becoming and right his ways as Leah stated.

He takes a stance in front of the women beside the Eclipse warriors a determined look on his face. "Matt! Arron! Stop this now!! You are scaring these women further!!" Arron's gaze arrogantly sweeps over the women and lands indifferently on Michael "It's fine! We're not scaring them! Are we?!" He sneers. The women flinch in response, trying to silence their terrified whimpers. Michael and the Eclipse warriors close ranks around the women shielding them from Arron. Hard closed down expressions glaring coldly at him.

Momentarily confusion marrs Arron's face. His face swiftly becomes an expressionless mask as he eyes Leah warily. Feeling her anger coming off her in waves, vibrating in the air around him, rattling his nerves. Part of him knew he was wrong to behave in such a manner. That part of him regretted his words and actions, while welcoming the punishment Leah was sure to soon deal out towards him. Another part reminded him he was an alpha and could not back down or show weakness.
Not in this situation.
Not in any!
That part told him he is entitled to be respected even by his crazy opinionated chosen daughter friend.
