Daniel sucks in a tight breath.

To have his soul read and hear how close he was to leaving his true path?! That was terrifying! To know that he was losing his way so badly made him want to get to his knees and beg forgiveness right here, right now. Looking around him he could see he wasn't the only one shaken by this news. There were more than a few pale, male faces in the garden at the moment. He knew why too. It was obvious why. If he was so close to losing his way, then, so was many of his friends and the other lads in this garden. He slowly exhales staring at the ground. "I can ensure you chosen daughter of the Goddess, that is not what I wish to happen! I will find my way back to her path and bath in her light fully once again!!"

Leah nods slowly. "Good to hear!" she looks thoughtful for a moment. Her gaze distant before returning her steady silver gaze to the future Beta. Her decision made. Pursing her lips for a moment "What if, maybe, on one those days that your father had pulled you to one side to reinforce his lesson; of the importance of your future position..." Leah bites her lower lip for a moment and Chris feels like groaning. Leah settles herself down on the floor. Daniel and a few other lads following suit, including Chris, who try's to position himself near her.

"What if on that day he had also expressed a desire to give you something. Something important. Something that will help you grow into the man and Beta, he's trying so hard to show you to be?! On that one fateful day, he reached in his pocket and pulls out an item. It was so small you couldn't see it at all with his giant fist folded around it" a few chuckles sang in the air. One coming from said father. "He turns his hand over so you can see. Slowly opening up his fingers. Revealing one shiny glint at a time. There on his palm sits a pocket watch. Hard to tell what metal it is made off, perhaps a mix? Because no matter the source or strength of light that finds its hard casing, it glimmers and shines, bouncing off the light like an gold nugget or a diamond with all its many faces! The way the light dances of it, it's almost seems like light itself is attracted to the watch just so it can dance joyfully along its hard planes" Many of the lads smirk here thinking of other hard planes they have that's often brought joy.

"As your father is instructing you to always handle it with care, that it's very fragile, he gently passes the watch into you hand. Now I bet your thinking 'a pocket watch? Dad I've got this nifty watch here on my wrist that not only tells me the time, it records my heart rate while I exercise, says how many miles I have ran and will act in place of my phone calling or texting whoever I need to contact, not to mention the calendar on it keeps me in the right place at the right time!' " Some more chuckles to this including from Daniel. "But before you can say any of this to your father, the watch is sat in your hand.
Your heart stops.
Your breath is trapped.
As you stare down at that tiny pocket watch with wonder. 'Remember son always handle it with care, it is very fragile and very special! Your watch maybe all singing and dancing, but it won't ever hold any of the importance this one does! It will never do what this one can!! You can feel that right?!
You can feel it already as it sits in your palm for mere seconds?! You can feel your spine straighten? You chest broaden? Does it feel like you've grown at least 10" taller!
Have you ever felt your claws so sharp?
Try running - you'll be faster than you ever dreamed! Strength? Ha never mind one on ones! Flex those muscles try ten on one and still you will win! There's no match, race, fight you could possibly lose whilst you hold this watch!! That's why it must be honoured and protected! Always treated with respect! With this beside you everyday, you will go from strength to strength! Bringing strength from one to all!"

All eyes hard and intense on her now. All ears hanging onto her every word. All are waiting eagerly for her to continue.

"But what is one flimsy pocket watch?! How can it be responsible for you being so strong?! So fast?! No! No must be all your training paying off, and coincidence with the timing of the watch. So you start thinking you don't need that watch, it's not so important, and when u do want it or need it you still have it ... right?! So you hide it safely away out of sight for days at a time!" Some of the females whimper. "That is until your subconscious starts clawing at you with need, then you find it out. Bringing it back beside you .... but you start taking less and less care of it! Leaving it just anywhere as if it has no importance what's so ever! Which of course, it doesn't does it, not to you!" Leah looks Daniel straight in the eye. Hitting home her point.

"It starts taking longer to find the pesky watch. If it's main purpose in life is to make you feel good and powerful shouldn't it be where you want it to be?!" A group of four or five young males snarl quietly together. "You start getting irritated with the watch. Maybe even drop it a couple of times" Leah shrugs. "But what's a couple of hits?" Angry growls erupt from all the males and females alike. Leah smiles slightly in response, maybe there is hope for this lot after all. "Finally you admit to yourself, that fragile watch is the reason you feel stronger and run faster ... but would another do the same?" The same group of lads growl again, seeing where Leah was going with this.

Leah looks over at them smiling, she recognises them as the same lads her brother Matt and future Alpha Arron had been with before all this drama had kicked off. Moving her attention to Matt and Arron she gave them a smile with a nod of approval. Leah hears Amber whisper to the Kate, Sophie and Marie "Ever notice that they have a knack of picking the best bunch of a pack?"
"And none of them are ever our mates?!" Kate adds in another whisper
"Yeah, we all seem to get stuck with pricks like these two!" Amber adds in her own glum whisper. Leah smiles. So does the lads in question - rather proudly. Chris and Daniel having heard the whispered conversation too, scowl, barely keeping their growls at bay. "I don't know .." Marie starts in a whisper back to them "Maybe it's the Godless' way to set them back on the right path?"
Sophie scoffs quietly "Yeah? Well it feels more like a punishment! Except I don't know what I did wrong ... trust me it sucks and truly hurts to experience this!" Her voice breaking into a sob towards the end. The girls gather each other closer while Matt, Arron, Michael try to comfort them. Chris and Daniel stare at their hands hating themselves all the more.
