The knock on the door startles Sophie out of her depressed daze. Slowly getting to her feet, doing her best to ignore the weakness in her body, the blurry vision and spinning mind as she walks slowly to answer the door. Opening the door she stands blinking blankly at the person in front of her. Glancing down at the woman's hands then back to her face she continues to blink with confusion as she opens her mouth to question or protest she wasn't really sure, but as her blurry eyes meet the kind motherly ones staring back, her mind becomes blank and her mouth goes dry. "Come along dear move aside let me in ... this breakfasts not going to eat itself and longer we stand here the colder it'll get!"
Automatically Sophie steps aside "sorry ma'am" the mid aged woman steps in with a smile "erm thank you for this" Sophie starts gesturing to the tray "it's no problem sweetie"
"The thing is ... I don't know who asked you to do this ... but I'm really not hungry" she looks at Sophie with a knowing look and gentle smile "that maybe sweetie but you need to eat" under the woman's watchful eye Sophie slowly sits down and does her best to eat the delicious food in front of her.

This goes on for a couple of days; her meals being brought to her room. After the kind mid aged woman left once Sophie had finished the breakfast she had brought her on the third morning, Sophie opened up a group mind link to reprimand the girls "Seriously this has to stop!!"
"Hello to you too" Kate responds. Sophie's sigh fills the empty room "I'm serious you have to stop this!"
"Stop what?" Marie asks
"What exactly have we done?" Amber asks
"You know what you have done!"
"Nope" Kate sends back
"Uh-uh" Amber replies
"No idea" Marie supplies. Beside them in the cafeteria Leah smirks and glances about looking for Daniel, spotting him talking to a middle aged woman with the same hazel eyes and what would be a friendly face if it wasn't so obvious she was scolding him.
"Why don't you enlighten us?" Leah asks
"Grrr. You keep sending meals up here! I told you I'm not hungry, I'm not! So why are you putting on that poor woman and girl to bring meals to me?!"
"They've been bringing your meals to you?"
"Who?"
"Have you been eating them?" The three girls reply simultaneously, almost over each other, Leah's silence going unnoticed. "Yes, breakfast and lunch. I have a feeling it would be dinner too if you three weren't dragging me to the hall.  I don't know who; a kind motherly middle aged woman with hazel eyes and a girl maybe around our age with chocolate brown hair and green eyes. And yes I've been eating the meals; they haven't given me much choice ... besides they're being put upon!! You need to stop it!"
"How long has this been going on for?"
"Good! I'm glad someone has been able to make you eat."
"It's not us!"
"This is the third morning and if it's not you then who?"
"I'm sure we don't know. I have seen the woman in the kitchen tho maybe you could try talking to her?"
"Hmmm"

Come lunch time when the girl came once again Sophie decided to question her.
"Hi ... what is your name?"
"Elsie" the girl replies with a friendly smile which Sophie returns.
"It's very kind of you to be doing this, but you really shouldn't trouble yourself like this! I bet there lots more important or fun things you could be doing instead!" The girl purses her lips thoughtfully then shakes her head "nope! But are you welcome" she finishes with a smile.
"Honestly please stop putting yourself out as well as the lady in the mornings ... I've just not much of an appetite lately but that doesn't mean you should trouble yourself like this! Please stop" the girl smiles gently again then shakes her head "it is no trouble at all! We do this cause care for your health ... all of us do! He's quite beside himself with worry about you!"
"Him? Who?" Sophie questions, the girl just smiles looking at her knowingly, with a spark in her eyes that silently asks 'do you really not know?'

A couple of hours later Sophie is stood in front of a confused Chris asking him to stop sending the food up. Chris shakes his head "Sophie it ain't me!" Sophie frowns at his words and sends a glare at the girls, before throwing her hands in the air "well I guess I'm back to the thinking board!"
Chris chuckles "Sophie why did you think it was me? Don't get me wrong if I was aware of the extent of you skipping meals I would have done something about it, but until you confronted me just .." Chris shrugs his shoulders "I knew you needed coaxing but was under the impression you was eating" Sophie flushes embarrassed "I am eating ... just I've not much of an appetite recently"

Chris nods looking serious suddenly, his eyes assessing, Sophie looks away "she said it was a He so.." she trails off, Chris gets a thoughtful look before glancing in Daniels direction "and I'm the only one you thought fit the bill? The only one in this pack that will worry about you not taking care of yourself?" Sophie seeing who his attention was on, involuntarily glances that way too, sniffing she turns her head away as she tears her gaze away, taking in deep breaths as she fights the tears filling her eyes. Chris' face softens completely taking in her distress, then aims a hard glare at the cause of it. Clearing her throat Sophie mutters quietly "yeah ... well only one with the sway at least"
"Your wrong about that" Chris states, Sophie gives him a sad smile as she shakes her head and leaves, not seeing the desperate look Daniel is giving her as his self loathing deepens and his heart breaks more.

"You got that? Heard it? Saw it?" Chris mind links him, his anger clear.
"yeah ... my mate thinks I'm the last person that'll care about her" he replies heartbroken
"Your the one who gave her that impression!"
"Yeah I know! I don't need to be reminded"
"Your also the only one who can change that impression"
"Goddess I hope so" with that Daniel shut the link and walked away.
