With quick sure steps Chris strides towards them. Another viscous growl leaving his lips as he smells the women's fear. "How dare you!" He snarls at Matt and Arron. "These women have been through enough without you arseholes wayward behaviour!! How dare you scare them more!! No wonder Leah left you behind when she entered the settlement - you have absolutely no empathy for others do you?! What are you even doing out here? You pair couldn't care less about these women could you!"
Matt and Arron have the decency to look ashamed of themselves. Their anger evaporating with Chris' words. Lowering their gazes to the floor, Chris rants at them.
"Get the fuck away from this group!! Scout ahead if you think you can control yourselves enough to be competent at that!!" At that the two men raise their eyes to stare at him sullenly "But when we return to our lands" Leah gives him a startled look knowing he is referring to her claim as Luna to the Eclipse pack "You will stay away from these women! From the other rescued women! From the hospital all together! Be aware that your movements will be monitored from now on and any further behaviour like this and you will no longer be welcome or permitted to stay on our pack lands! Further more I will notify your alpha how disgustingly his future Alpha and Beta have behaved and treated these women!!" Arron and Matt pale slightly at the threat "And you!" Chris continues pointing at Matt "You ever growl at my mate like that again, I will tear your vocal cords out of your damn throat!! Understood?!"

Both men nod. Shooting apologetic looks to the injured women and Leah before turning to jog ahead of the group.

Leah stares at Chris in shock. "Come on let's get these women home and to the doctors!" Chris declares to his warriors before turning to the group of women, offering a small smile in an attempt to reassure them "I'm so sorry for the behaviour of those two, but I assure you, you are safe now! My warriors and I will not allow any further harm to come to you! Not to mention my beautiful mate, who you've met already" he says softly. The women look from him to Leah, back to him and his men and visibly gather themselves for what's to come.

The group continues on their way to the Eclipse pack lands. With Chris walking beside the still shocked Leah. Chris keeps glancing at her. "What?" Finally he asks Leah blushes and looks away. "Why do you keep looking me like that?" Leah shakes her head embarrassed. Chris smiles gently at her while nudging her shoulder with his own. Leah sighs. Looking at him, then past his shoulder, she smirks before meeting his eyes "I'm just impressed" she starts with a small shrug "Not many intimidate Arron or Matt ... not to mention both at the same time ... yet you did, with a pup sat upon your back" she finishes with a smile. Chris blinks. A smile slowly forming. A giggle sounds behind him from a delighted Fay. Soon Chris and Leah laugh along with her.

Within a couple of hours of their safe return to the Eclipse pack lands, the organised chaos easily hide the shadow that melted away. Later the dusk air hung with the pungent smell of smoke, faint wisps was just about visible in the darkening sky, the warriors sent to investigate reported back that where the rouge settlements had once stood was now blackened, burnt, ash covered ground.
