12: Caught

Steve couldn't take in what was happening until he is already halfway to the plains below him. He screamed out, flailing his arms.

I'm going to die.

Inages of his body slamming onto the ground behind him made his heart pound hard. His life flashes before his eyes as all he can see is the dark sky. He shut his eyes shut, preparing for the impact.

He waited. And waited. He slowly opens one eye, finding himself still facing upwards to the sky. Everything.. was still. Peaceful. Am I... dead?

Steve hears laughter from right next to him. He blinks, looking up as he realize Herobrine had caught him, arm behind his knees and one on his back. "Y.. you sav-" Steve started.

"Pft. You should seen that blank look on your face when I pushed you off!"

"You.. you what?!" Steve remembered feeling someone pushing him forward from the cliff. "You almost killed me!" He shouted, angrily. "

Herobrine lets go of Steve, letting him drop to the ground. Steve was about to get up and yell when Herobrine hovers over him, smirking. "Do you think you have any place to say anything right now?"

"H.. huh?"

"I caught you trying to escape," Herobrine went on. "I think a punishment will be good..."

"P-pu-punishment?!" From where Steve is at, he sees Herobrine's white glowing eyes lighting more brighter as ever. Thoughts ran in Steve's head as every horrible torture came to mind.

Drowning..? Electrocution...? Lashes...? TICKLING?!

"Hmm what should I do.." Herobrine turns around, thinking. "Should... a finger or two do it...?"

Steve grabs his hand. Fingers..?! He slides back, gulping.

"No.. how about a hand..?"

"Wa.. wait hold o-"

"An arm maybe?" Steve sees Herobrine glacimg over his shoulders with a wide, dark smile. He turns towards Steve and kneels down slowly. "Which arm ahould it be..." Herobrine makes a wide crazed smile before making a cutting motion on Steve's right arm. "This right arm it is."

Steve can't stop himself, his mind going blank and then passing out, sprawled out on the ground. Herobrine frowns. "Aw.. I thought he was going go scream and run." He grabs Steve and puts him on his shoulder. "Back in the mansion my hostage~"
