29: Infomation

Steve woke up in the morning. He turns around in his bed, deeply disappointed that Herobrine wasn't laying besides him.

He was there..

Once he got ready, he went downstairs finding half of the mobs plus Herobrine missing. "Where is everyone?" Steve asked.

"Th-they.." Layla started and the rest of the words she muttered.

"They went to the Nether." Lena finished, sighing.

"Huh?"

"Herobrine said they're getting ready for the Nether Ball!" Naomi said excitedly.

That's what Herobrine was talking about last night..

"What is the Nether Ball?" Steve asked.

"Oh right, a human wouldn't know. Totally forgot." Lena had on a smug grin.

Wh-what's that supposed to mean?

"A Nether Ball is to honor the ruler of the Nether of course." Lena continued.

"It's a party!" Naomi exclaimed.

Herobrine... a ruler...? Steve couldn't even imagine him ruling anything at all.

"It's for mobs like us, not just any mobs. That's why we owe it to Sophia."

"Th-the human equivalent is a ball party.." Layla added shyly. "I-I.. read about them..."

"Basically.. a ball but.. with mobs then?" Steve asked, frowning.

"I might meet my friends.." Naomi said happily. "They always tell me about the Nether Ball."

"Isn't the Nether... hot?"

Lena started laughing.

"A human who got filled with human lies." Lena's face turn stern. "The Nether is not hot at all. Check your facts."

I-is everyone like this in the Nether Ball??

"U-um... I'm worried..." Layla said quietly.

Naomi looks at Layla. "The Ball will be fun, Layla!"

"No.. it's not that.." Layla looks around nervously. "Delilah went... into the Nether.."

"To help out obviously." Lena said quickly

"B-but don't skeletons turn into Wither Skeletons?!"

Everyone fell silent.

"N-no.. wait! The ones that would come out of your closets while you sleep and turn you into one of them?!" Steve turns pale, eyes widening at the thought of Delilah sneaking into his room once but this time turning him into her own kind.

"Th-they lose their ability to use bows.. An-and there are ghosts in the Nether!"

"Ghosts!?!" Naomi and Steve said at the same time.

"You mean ghasts..?" Lena folded her arms, scowling.

"That's.. yeah.." Layla muttered.

Naomi giggled to herself. "I thought you mean real ghosts, Layla."

The doors open and Zoey comes through with a sad look on her face. "No food.. Nether." She whined as she sat down and grab the nearest food there is and shoved it into her mouth.

"Hey Zoey! That's my food!" Naomi exclaimed.

"We're back~" Delilah's voice rang through the room as she enters with Sophia and Herobrine.

Steve turns to see Delilah as herself and he breathes in relief.

Herobrine looks at Steve, making all sorts of faces. Suggestive faces at most. Steve's face turns red.

"The Nether Ball is coming up." Herobrine told everyone. "Get ready for it, I want to see you all in fancy clothing." Delilah cheered loudly with Naomi.

"I'm picking my own fancy clothings." Steve muttered to himself. But he had a feeling that Herobrine wouldn't allow that.
