33: Final Touches

On the day of the Ball, Delilah went into everyone's bedroom and shake them awake. When she got to Herobrine room, she couldn't find him anywhere. Sophia wasn't in her room either.

"Stevie~" Delilah sanged when she entered Steve's room. He was already up with Herobrine and Sophia fixing him up. She giggled while Herobrine and Sophia were arguing again about some nonsense. "Guess I'll go change~"

"T-This is even more than last time.." Steve mumbled as Sophia started using those puffy white balls on his cheeks.

"Don't put too much like last time.."

"Like if you can do any better."

Steve looks at the mirror in front him, examining himself. He couldn't even tell that he was the one in the mirror.

Sophia takes a step back, closing one eye to frame Steve. "One more thing.. Your voice.."

"Huh?"

"Steve's voice is fine, no one will tell the difference." Herobrine said.

What's that suppose to mean?!

Sophia did her final touches, leaning back to admire her masterpiece. "Perfection," She said grinning. "I'm going to go change." She heads out of the room after she gathered her make-up kit.

Steve is left with Herobrine who is examing him carefully. "Wh-what is it?!" Steve asked.

Herobrine chuckles. "Nothig, just make sure you don't get wet."

"Doesn't the Nether have lava?"

"Some parts do," Herobrine explained. "But we're going into the Nether Castle."

Steve frowns, waited for more information.

"The Nether Castle is what the other mobs call a Ruler's Lair." Herobrine said. "I was the one who took the title from the previous owner so I am the Ruler for now."

"What do you rule over anyway?" Steve asked.

"The Mobs and Nether basicially."

"So... everyone here is..."

Herobrine shakes his head. "No.. Sophia is different."

"What do you mean?"

"I've met Sophia long time ago." Herobrine said. "She helped me keep my own status."

"Your own.. status..?"

Herobrine sighs. "The Nether works differently. I have a lot of people trying to take my status. One of them came close but Sophia came in to aid me."

.. Sophia and Herobrine are close friends then..

"Then the other mobs-"

"Those are Sophia's friends. I owe her and that's why we're all here."

Steve couldn't help but smile. Herobrine blinks. "What is it?"

"You know.." Steve said. "You're not a bad guy.."

Herobrine opens his mouth to say otherwise but shuts up, laughing. He leans in on Steve's cheeks and gives it a peck. "Let's show how what a Ruler's Wife looks like." Herbrine said, taking hold of Steve's hand and leads him out of his room.

The two playfully pushes each other until Steve realized what Herobrine had said. He turns red. Wife.. he said wife... Wait.. wait what..?!

"I-I'm not a wife." Steve muttered.

"Then... Girlfriend..?"

"Not that either!"

"... My personal maid?"

"Herobrine!"
