30: Shopping

That afternoon, Steve was in his room when Sophia barged in, startling Steve who was peacefully laying on his bed.

"Wh-what is it?!" Steve exclaimed loudly.

"Herobrine said we're going shopping."

"Huh?"

"Shopping Steve." Sophia said. "Hurry up, let's go!"

Steve hurried down the stairs to find everyone waiting for him in the living room.

"Cutie~ I'll help you pick out something." Delilah said with a wide smile.

"Where.. are we shppping exactly..?" Steve asked.

"Well.. you're going to one of the dull and boring human stores." Lena said with a sideways grin.

Dull.. and boring..?

"We can't enter human stores.. Well some of us can but.. Zoey.." Naomi gasts a glance at Zoey who was sighing.

"No like shopping for dresses." Zoey whined.

"Come on Sophia, cast the teleportation." Herobrine said. "Do it for Steve first."

"I am!" A purple circle appear underneath Steve's feet.

"Hey wait!" Steve called out. "I don't-" In a blink of an eye, he was suddenly in another place. "have money..."

Steve sighs before he look around. It looks to be a quiet store with dresses, gowns, tuxes, and suits all on the wall. There are also fancy shoes and accessories.

There isn't anyone in the store though. Steve walks to the front door, pushing it but it wouldn't budge.

"What the?!" Steve tried pulling but it still didn't move.

Don't tell me I'm locked inside?!

"Oh no... what if someone sees me?!" Steve looks around for any cameras. "I can't go to jail.."

"Steve!"

Steve jumped, raising his arms up. "I didn't take anything!"

Herobrine was standing there with, frowning. "What are you doing?"

Steve puts his arms down, embarrassed. "Wh-what are you doing here? I thought you were going to be with the others.."

Herobrine grins. "I'm here to help you pick a dress."

"I don't need any..." Steve pauses. "A-a what?"

"Dress." Herobrine said.

I knew it.. Steve sighs. Why am I so surprised?

"Surely the one that Herobrine likes couldn't be a boy... but also a human?"

Hero.. Herobrine likes..?! Steve couldn't help but blush.

"That's why we have to disguise you." Herobrine grabs one of the dresses- a white puffy gown.

"Th-that's a wedding dress!"

Herobrine holds up another one, a pink open back dress that goes down to the ankles which has a silt for leg movement.

"Too exposing.."

After a couple more dresses, it was clear that Herobrine wanted Steve to expose his body to everyone.

"Why.. why do you keep picking these kind of dresses?!"

Herobrine shrugs. "What else should I pick then?"

"Let me choose instead.."

Herobrine thought about it for a moment. "Fine.. but I have to approve it."

Steve looks around, trying to spot out something for him.

His eyes set on a short dark blue dress. It wasn't too short-it goes to his knees with off shoulders.

"That one." Steve pointed to it.

"Go on, try it on."

Steve took it off the wall and step inside the changing room.

I can't believe I picked my own dress..

Steve slips out of his clothes and got onto the dress. Clearly he is missing something around the chest.

Herobrine saw Steve's head peek out of the changing room. Steve slowly steps out, arms across his chest to keep it from dropping.

Herobrine kept a straight face. "It's alright." He said but what he really meant was 'it's perfect'.

"Um.. I-I don't think it will fit me... I don't really have.."

"Ah we can just stuff it."

"Huh?!?"

Herobrine and Steve then look for accessories and shoes together. Steve denied practically everything until Herobrine lets him choose.

"So.. how much are these going to cost?" Steve asked, watching Herobrine stuff everything into a bag.

"Cost?" Herobrine frowns. "What do you mean?"

"We need to pay for those."

Herobrine laughs. "There's no one here to take the money anyway."

Steve laughs along with Herobrine. He has to admit. He did have fun.

Steve blinks, realizing that they are both locked inside and Sophia isn't here. "Wait.. how are we suppose to get back?"

"..."

"Really Herobrine?"
