40: Friendly

Steve opens his mouth to correct her but then his whole cover will be blown. "Wh-what..?"

Lilith's cheeks turn red. "I-I think you're gorgerous." She came so close that Steve had to lean back. "I really... want you with me.." Lilith suddenly pulls Steve in for a hug. Steve flushes deeply as he didn't know what to do. How did this happen..?

"I'm.. I'm not inte-" Before Steve can finish his words, Lilith shot him a scary gaze, a look that was meant to kill. "ehgoing to reject you."

Lilith's mouth turned intro a wide smile and she started tugging Steve out of the entrance. "Come on," Lilith said, gleefully. But once she saw Rigi, her face turned back into her cold self, letting go of Steve.

"We will go attend the ball." Lilith said.

"But Hero-"

Lilith holds up a hand to stop Rigi. "I can take him on." She said.

Rigi said nothing and Lilith went on with Steve. Once they were out of Rigi's vision, Lilith hugs Steve's arm again. "I want to eat some cake with you."

"Um.. sure..." Steve muttered. She's not even giving me a choice..?!

Lilith pulls out to what seems to be a mask and put it over her face. Steve would say that the mask will only make her stand out more but couldn't bring himself to say anything at all.

Herobrine and the others should be at the ball..

The two of them reach the ball and hurried to one of the tables with food. "Say ah~" Lilith said, offering Steve a strawberry. He open his mouth to let Lilith feed him. "So.. Lilith.. how... old are you exaclty?"

"I'll say... about two hundred?"

Steve almost choked on his strawberry. "H-huh?"

"I must be a lot older than you then," Lilith said, giggling. "judging from your reaction."

It never occured to Steve that Herobrine and other mobs should be a different age.

"Do you know what's Herobrine's age then?" Steve asked.

"Herobrine older than me but I'm not sure how old he is." She responded as she takes another plate of food. "How old are you then?"

"I'm.. I'm.. a hundred," Steve said quickly.

"That's why I never saw you before." Lilith exclaimed. "You're so young.."

Steve laughs awkwardly, trying to get it in his head that hundreds doesn't seem as much. Wait.. Herobrine is.. he's an old man... but he doesn't look old. Steve looks at Lilith, she doesn't even look like an adult..

"What else can you tell me about Herobrine?" Steve asked.
