46: Using the Potions

Wh.. who is that...?! Steve swallowed hard. She gives off a totally different vibe!

"Are you the Ruler's property?"

Property..?!

"Lai.." Lilith stared at her angrily. "What are you doing?! I was having a good nice and you-you ruined it."

"Hmm? A nice time..?" Lai looks down at Lilith, smirking. "Oh I forgot, you black bones have no way of telling scents."

"What does that have to do with anything?"

Lai flashes a look at Steve. "I smelled something funny."

No wonder Sophia was talking about scent.. Steve froze. No.. does.. does she know...?!

This is bad... I have to run.. Steve slowly backs away and and turned to run. He barely enter the stairs when he was grabbed from behind. Lai pulls him close to her, practically hugging him. "Now.. where are you going?" Lai whispered. Steve tried to get out but Lai was holding onto him tightly.

Lilith's cheeks turn red. "Y-you better let go of her!"

"You're going to have and make me~" Steve's feet lifted off the ground and he can see that he was going up in the air.

"Stevie!" Lilith cried out.

Lai went higher, away from the tower. "If you want her, you will have to come and take her."

"If only I have my abilities," Lilith gritted her teeth. "What do I do...?" She watches helplessly as Lai went off with her possible love of her life.

"Put me down!" Steve shouted.

"Hmm? Do you really want that?"

Steve looks at the ground, seeing that he was going across lava. "N-No.." He had no choice but to let Lai fly him across to the other side.

When they landed Lai lets him go, her mouth curling into a cruel smile. Steve looks around, seeing that he was on a high area that was surrounded by lava.

No where to run..

"I wouldn't imagine someone like you to be Herobrine's..." Lai tilt her head at Steve. She steps towards him and Steve steps back.

"Wh-who are you?" Steve asked, voice trembling. She gave off the same feeling when he had first met Herobrine.

"Ahh right. My name is Lai." She responded. "Yours is.. Stevie..?"

Steve nodded slowly. Lai puts a nail on Steve's chin, lifting his face towards him. "Hmm I guess you do have a pretty face." Lai frowns as she gazes down. "Not much of a body.."

Wh-what?! Steve felt a small tick of anger.

"You... you're a witch?"

"Yes..." Steve answered, carefully. He suddenly remembers the potions that Sophia gave him. They were hidden underneath his dress, strapped around his leg. He slips his hands to try and grab one.

"But the scent Herobrine have on him was..." Lai muttered. Steve's heart thumped as he heard Lai's next word.

"human."

Steve took a potion and threw it at Lai. He didn't have time to check what it was. Luckily, she didn't see it coming and it splashed right on her. She shouted out as the vision around her eent completely dark.

"You-YOU!" Lai screamed as she bares her fangs. "What did you do?!"

Steve ran to the edge of the land and took out all his other potions. He cursed as he tried to figure out which one would help him in this situation.

Potion.. Potion... He wished he had paid attention to Sophia when she went over the potions.

Lai's eyes sharpened to clear out the blindness. Just wait till I get my hands on you..

Steve looks back to see Lai coming straight towards him with great speed. He fumbled with the potions and picked an orange one. He drank it quickly and did a prayer before diving straight into the lava.
