Steve frowns as he headed deeper and deeper into the cave. All the ores that had been here have been mined already by no other than himself. This cave was abandoned a while ago so Steve thought it would be a good idea to explore it. He did find a couple of ores the other day.
But today, he couldn't find a single ore.
"There has to be something." Steve said to himself, descending deeper and deeper. He grab a torch off the wall, lighting up his pathway.
Something fell, making a small pat-pat noise. Steve turns around, finding a small rock rolling towards him. Feeling uneasy, he slowly reaches for his sword on his belt. He looks all around him, swallowing hard. Everything around him was total darkness. Steve starts to regret coming down this deep.
Steve was just about to head back up when he hears a pair of footsteps coming from deeper in the cave. Steve swung around, pulling out his sword. "Wh... who's there...?!"
The footsteps stop and Steve was greeted by silence. He held the torch and spun around, trying to see who's in the darkness. "Show yourself!"
Out of the corner of his eyes, something moved in the dark. He turned towards the direction, scanning the area. He felt something brush against his arm. He froze, his heart pounding rapidly. Steve couldn't move, too afraid to see who-or what was behind him.
He hears a deep chuckle before all of the sudden his torch flame was put out.
Steve screamed loudly, panicking as he turns around, running towards the dim lights. He trips over rocks as the footsteps grew louder and faster as if it was chasing him. Steve looks back to try to see what was chasing him but before he can get a good look, he slams into a wall. He groans as he sees stars in in vision before blacking out, collasping on the ground.
