52: Murderous

Sophia was thrown into a room of the nether fortress. "Wait till I get my energy back." She shouted angrily. She sinks back, sighing heavily. "I'm sorry Herobrine.."

Silence follows. She tries to teleport out but nothing happened.

"Are they gone yet...?"

"Just open it and let's get out!"

Those voices..

The door flungs open and Delilah stands in the doorway, smiling widely. "Sophia rescue team is here~"

"Oh my, look who came." Lai sneered, watching Herobrine approaching her. "Finally shown your face." She blinks as she choked on air.

The atmosphere is thickening. She hides her fear behind her smile, appearing confident. "What's the matter?"

Herobrine didn't answer. He continued heading towards Lai with a dark face. Lai's confidence immediately started to fade. Her claws grew and sharpened. Her eyesight turned sharper in fear as she gulps.

He is going to kill me if he gets me. Lai thought, panickingly. Should I make a run for it?

"Don't think about it," Lai turns to see Herobrine behind her. She barely had the time to dodge. There was a gaping hole where she was just standing.

"Tch! I have no choice then." Lai lunges towards Herobrine, her claws going straight for his throat. Her arm was stopped just inches away. Herobrine had Lai's arm in his grasp.

She winces as Herobrine's grips tightens and soon her arm started to twist. "Getting to crowd against me was a nice idea.." Herobrine's mouths curled into a cruel smile as he increase his force.

"Get... off.. me!" Lai snarled, swinging her other arm.

Herobrine lets go, jumping back to avoid the slash. Lai holds onto her broken arm, hissing.

She flew up towards the air, glaring down at Herobrine. "There's only one way you can lose then.." Her eyes turns towards Steve, whose head is peeking out to watch what was happening. "I'll have to grab the human as hostage."

Herobrine realized what Lai was planning but it was too late. She is already flying towards Steve.
