6: Awake

Note: I will be doing (mobname) since there's alot of names... will be gone in a couple of chapters

Steve woke up to someone's face looking right down at him. He screamed loudly and the person also screamed, both equally high pitched.

Steve shoves the face away and turned, trying to get out of the area. "Where.. where am I?!" He shouted, confused. Steve fell off the bed, tangling himself in the bed sheets. "Ahhh!"

Layla (Enderman) stood there, bowing her head in quick dips. "Sorry..! Sorry! I-I didn't mean to..." She apologizes, her face turning red before she runs out of the room.

Steve rubs his head, standing up as he untangle himself from the mess. "What is happening.." He mutters before remembering that he saw Herobrine and a bunch of girls.

"I gotta get out of here...!" Steve started to move when the bed sheets started moving on its on.

"U.. awh... Huh?!" Steve steps back. "What the...?!" A lump under the bedsheet started to grow bigger and then it slowly creep towards the end of the blanket. Steve steps back further, not wanting to deal with what monster lies underneath the bedsheets. First, the two small hands pokes out, grabbing the edges of the sheets and pulling on it. Naomi's (Spider) head peeks out of the sheets as she wraps herself in the blanket.

"Why... why were you sleeping with me?!" Steve turned red.

Naomi (Spider) blinks. "h.. huh?"

"Awww~ he's awake!" Delilah (Skeleton) pops up from the other side of the bed seemingly out of nowhere. She was wearing nothing but a thin thong.

Steve had to shield his eyes. "Oh.. Please..! Clothes!"

Delilah (Skeleton) moved on closer. "Awww look at him~" Delilah teased. "So cute when he's red."

"That's enough!" Delilah (Skeleton) turns to see Lena (Creeper) newr the doorway, arms crossed. "You're touching a human." She hisses.

"Aww come on Lenny~"

"It's Lena!"

"Whatever Lenny~~ I'm sure you like this cutie as much as I do." Delilah (Skeleton) winks at her. Lena (Creeper) turns into a tomato in an instant. "N-N-No way!" She shouted. "I'll never like a human!" Lena puffed out her cheeks before storming off out the room, muttering words angrily under her breath.

Steve, who is now trying to sneak away when Delilah (Skeleton) grabs his arm, pulling him towards her. Steve's arm presses against Delilah chest, Steve felt all the steam go out of him.

"Ok, what's going on?" The two turns to see Herobrine at the doorway with an annoyed look on his face and arms crossed. Delilah (Skeleton) winks at Steve before speeding out of the room, past Herobrine. All the color drained from Steve's face.

"Uh-Uah.. I... I.." He stambled. He still couldn't believe that Herobrine is in the same place as him. He still remembers he words of the old lullaby to keep naughty kids from making trouble.

Herobrine, Herobrine- the one with the white eyes
He won't like the kids that tell lies
Herobrine, Herobrine- the one with no soul
He won't like kids that are awful
All the naughty kids will be taken

So please be a good child
Don't lie, don't steal or be wild
Or else Herobrine will take your soul

Of course as a small kid, Steve was scared and always on his best behavior. But as he grew up and heard other stories about Herobrine... he disregred them as a bunch of folktales.

"Do you really eat souls?" Steve blurts out before realizing what he had said. Herobrine looks at him, blankly.

"No.. I... sorry.. It just came in my head-" Steve tries to explain but he sees Herobrine's corners of his mouth creeping up into a wide smile. It wasn't a normal smile though. It was one of those creepy smiles- one that a murderer would make.

The air chilled and Steve gulped as Herobrine slowly takes a few steps towards him. "U..ukk..." Steve couldn't speak as the dark amtophere weighs him down. He couldn't move, he felt as if heavy chains were bound to his legs.

Herobrine came closer and closer until Steve can literally feel his breath. It stuck Steve that Herobrine was tall. Wasn't as tall the last time he saw him but Steve felt smaller. Tiny. Herobrine seizes him up and all Steve felt is that he fell in a predator's trap. Herobrine puts a hand on Steve's shoulder and leans down to the same face level.

"Give me your soul."
