47: Getting Closer

Herobrine spotted the lone tower out in the area. He remembers going there when it was first constructed. Lilith was the one who deicided that it would be a good idea to put a tower in the middle of no where.

Can't believe I'll have to go to that stupid tower again..

He slowed now his flight in order to stop in fromt of the tower. He scowls, seeing someone peeking out from the entrance.

"Come out." He barked.

Lilith slowly walks out, her lips trembling. She was afraid.

"Bring Stevie out now."

When Lilith didn't answer right away, Herobrine felt the urge to kill her. Lilith felt it too and flinched, taking a step back. Instead he takes a deep breath. "Bring Stevie out now." He repeated.

"I-I don't have her.."

"What do you mean?!" Herobrine's voice started to raise. "You've clearly taken Stevie away. Where is h... she?"

"Lai was the one that took her." Lilith said quickly. "I didn't harm her at all.."

Herobrine's blood run cold as he heard the Dragon's name.

How did she find Steve so quickly?! He looks down at himself. No.. Don't tell me his scent is over me...

"Where did she go?"

Lilith pointed in a direction towards the lava. Without wasting a second, Herobrine was already flying over there.

"Don't think you're in the clear, Lilith." Herobrine muttered. "I have to get Steve away from Lai.."

The Dragon have an excellent sense of smell. It was a good idea to spray Steve so he wouldn't be found out as human. But Herobrine haven't thought that about himself. Steve's scent is practically all over him..

Herobrine cursed loudly. Lai would surely try and use Steve against him. He didn't want to bring her to the Ball but it was required for both Lilith and Lai to come.

Hang in there, Steve.

It wasn't so hot... It's warm.. a cozy...

Steve's eyes flew open and he looked around in panic. There was a nearly invisable line around him.

Is this some kind of force field?

Steve smiles in relief. He picked the right potion after all. He recalled Sophia talking about fire resistance and that he would be able to walk through fires and swim in lava without any issues. He reminded himself to thank Sophia later on.

Steve peeks his head out of the lava. He doesn't see Lai scouting him out so that's a good thing.

"Now all I got to do is get onto land.." Steve looks around.

W-wait...

He looks around one more time.

I'ms stranded?!
