54: Smoothly

(Sorry for updates and chapters going real downhill, will be trying to make chapters better and longer)

"L-Lilith, what are you doing here?" Steve laughs nervously.

"W-Wither!" Naomi squeaked out as she cowered behind Steve. Zoey did the same, huddling with her.

"Were you lying to me the whole time?" Lilith asked.

"U-um... I wasn't trying to-"

"what Lai said was true, wasn't it?" Lilith's voice started to raise. "You.. you're human."

Steve gulps as the the ground underneah him seems to shake. Lilith's eyes turned flashing white as she steps towards Steve, snarling.

"Not only that, you were a guy?!"

"St-Steve what should we do?!" Naomi cried out.

"I don't know, okay!?"

Herobrine, this js a good time to come and save me...

"You..." Lilith started. "I can't believe this.." Her eyes dimmed and the rumbled slow to a stop. She fell to the ground on her arms and knees. "You were just my type-cute, strong bottom energy and beautiful at the same time." She sighs, sounding defeated.

"What do you mean strong bottom energy?!" Steve stared at Lilith. "I'm the one that-" Steve stops himself midsentence. The three mobs were staring at him as his face turns red.

"W-well.. I could take the lead.." Steve stammered. "Herobrine.. he's.. you know..."

Layla, getting back her conscious, squealed. "Lilith is right, so, so correct!" She jumps up, acting completely different from the Layla Steve knows. "Look at Steve, he's smaller and much more submissive." She kept on running her mouth, eyes sparkling as Lilith nodded along.

"H-hey!" Steve exclaimed. "I'm right here." Layla didn't even seem to hear him as she goes on and on.

Layla clasps her hands with Lilith's, excitedly. "Would you be interested in my writings?"

Lilith's cheeks turns red. "U-um.. sure.."

"Zoey is confused.." Zoey grumbled as she watches Lilith carefully.

"S-so... we're not going to die..?" Naomi asked.

"I'm just.. a bit surpised.." Lilith looks at Steve, scowling. "Herobrine picking a human? A human boy?!" She shakes her head. "Not sure how you got him to take an interest in you..."

"Well... I didn't.. do anything actually.."

Steve remembers Herobrine and he turns to check how things are going. Lai has disappeared but Herobrine was standing alone in the field. He seems to notice Steve watching him from afar and he waved with both arms.

Steve waved back, couldn't hold back his laughter as Herobrine jumped up and down like a little child.

Sophia and the rest of hus friends appeared next to Herobrine along with Lai who was sulking.

"Let's meet up with them," Steve said, grinning widely.
