[A/N: One last thing: yes, I did draw that last one because there aren't any emojis for this. Guys. You keep breaking me.

CONNOR FELT GREAT when he woke up that morning, a nearly nonexistent commodity. Only being "nearly" because of this one night. Connor always felt anxiety press on him when he woke up every morning, it was just part of living for him, but today it seemed... lighter. His anxiety didn't seem to even care that he was in a house with someone who was potentially as strong as he was and had a lot more training (which confused him-- oh so that will trigger it but not potential danger, great).

Connor took a minute to relish in the lessened anxiety before getting up and throwing on another black shirt and the pair of jeans from the day before. Connor jogged downstairs, blinking in surprise as he noted that it wasn't Barbara cooking, it was Jim.

He apparently sensed him or something, because Jim turned to him, and instead of being surprised, he said, "Mom's at the clinic. Besides, you don't want her cooking." Jim cringed.

Connor just raised his eyebrows.

Jim handed him a paper sack. "C'mon, you can use my mom's bike."

"Where are we going?"

"School..?"

"Oh."

Jim and Connor walked out into the garage, Jim carrying a tray of bags (...why Connor didn't know) and Connor carried his own. "I can carry that," Connor offered (he didn't know the 'why' to that either).

Jim smiled, but shook his head. "No, it's fine. They'll be off my hands in a minute. Can you open the door though?"

Connor found out.

The moment he opened the door, the garage flooded with both his team and Jim's. Jim's was less hesitant to just grab a bag and stick it in theirs, briefly thanking Jim before heading back to bike.

Robin held a skateboard under one arm, as did Artemis, while Zatanna seemed to have summoned her own bike, M'gann was using a scooter, and Aqualad and Wally were on foot it seemed.

Jim eyed everyone but Zatanna with a skeptical eye before glancing at Toby and Claire, who shrugged. "I tried to tell them. They don't listen."

Jim just rolled his eyes. "They'll learn soon enough. It took me longer then I thought to make the food. If we don't take the canals we're gonna be late."
