CLAIRE WALKED INTO Trollmarket little less than an hour after the teenagers' act of rebellion. "Guys, my mom had a digital copy of the paperwork," She told them gravely as she walked over to them.

"Shit!" Darci cursed, glaring at the ground, hands on her hips, "That means ours probably do, too!"

Steve frowns, arms crossed. "My mom probably has no clue what she'd be signing."

"N-Neither would mine!" Eli cried. "I mean, I could probably ask to stay with my dad!"

Jim frowns, shaking his head, "No, then this new roommate could snoop. If we end up with houseguests, we need a plan. A good one."

Claire purses her lips, placing a hand on her chin. "...What if we didn't resist it?"

Everyone's head shot up, immediately blurting out, "What?!"

Claire gave a weirded out look before continuing, "Look, we know we can't stop it, so the best we can do is play along. If any of them act like Wayne faced resistance from us, we act confused, invite them to social gatherings between us-- show absolutely no resistance and show only hospitality and friendship. Throw them off their game, get them confused."

"'Keep your friends close and your enemies closer'." Strickler quotes grimly, arms crossed. "Ms. Nuñez is correct- the best way to beat this foe is to trick him into thinking there is nothing to win."

Barbara purses her lips, "But Jim's fighting-"

"Can be passed off as you teaching him Krav Maga and Adrenaline." Strickler cuts in, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.

Barbara purses her lips, glaring at it until he removes it.

"My point being, you all must except these intruders happily and meet the challenge with deception. I suggest employing the improv acting Ms. Janisec has been trying to teach you all."

Jim purses his lips, "As much as I hate to say it, Strickler's right. Everyone, go home and make sure that your parents signed the papers- if they did, throw a gasket. Don't let them know that's what we want. Text me a mad face if they did, happy face if they didn't- got it?"
