IT MADE SENSE.
All of it.
Dick pursed his lips, running a hand down his face as he stared at his phone. It sat on the desk in front of him, taunting him.
Haunting him.
Hesitantly, Dick picks it up and dials the number, placing the phone to his ear after a moment's debate.
"Hello?"
Dick's breath hitched and he ended the call, slamming the phone face-first into the desk, heart pounding.
No.
Not yet.
He needed more evidence, more information.
And he knew just the place to find it.
DICK WAS COMPLETELY silent as he snuck into Claire's room that evening, fully aware that she was out with Jim for the night.
He crept around quietly for barely ten minutes before the lights flicked on.
In the doorway stood Claire, eyes narrowed, arms crossed. "And here I thought you were the smart one, Robin."
