STEVE PICKED ELI up on his Vespa at seven sharp, who was wearing jeans instead of shorts and had thrown on a blazer (Megan insisted). Steve just tried not to feel under dressed. First, they ate dinner at a little café (that Toby had suggested to Wally, who suggested it to Kaldur, who suggested it to Steve). Neither talked much for about half of the time spent there... "...Hey, we're good... right..?" Steve asked hesitantly. "'Cuz you're being really quiet, and--"

"O-Oh, n-no, no! I-I'm just kind of awkward..." Eli cut in quickly, his voice fading to a mumble, picking at his food, face as red as Steve's.

"Y-yeah, same..."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!"
