The brunette

     Aria looked around her English classroom looking for the mysterious person. Should she text them and see if anyone looks at their phone? What if they aren't at school today? She opened her messages and clicked on the contact "Unknown", typing a quick message.

October 12th

Aria: Hey

     She looked around. No one acknowledged a message or even had their phone in their hands. A few people walked in, including a tall brunette girl who sat on the end in the front. She pulled out her phone and typed a couple words to a person on the other end. Aria was too focused on her phone to notice the girl texting.

Unknown: Hey there!

Aria: Are you in class?

     The tall brunette looked around the classroom. She caught site of Aria in the back staring at her phone. Should she tell her she was in fact in the classroom with her at this very moment? What if she found out it was her? The girl sighed before typing her answer.

Unknown: Yes

     Aria looked up from her phone and scouted the room. A few kids were on their phones now and she couldn't tell which one was texting her. Mr. Fitz walked into the classroom to start the lesson. He looked at Aria for a moment, then shifted his gaze to another student in the room. He looked at the short girl again, then back to the student. Aria followed his eyes and saw a brunette sitting in the front. She snuck her phone under the desk and texted the stranger who may be the other girl.

Aria: Are you in the front?

The tall brunette looked up from her phone and slowly turned around in chair. She locked eyes with Aria for a nanosecond before quickly facing forward, afraid that her cover was blown. She looked back at the message then turned her phone off, placing it on the desk upside down. Aria was slightly disappointed that her secret admirer didn't text back, but the reaction by the brunette in the front had definitely answered her longing question. She was the person Aria was texting.
