Spencer put a TV dinner in the microwave and waited for it to be done. Melissa has some stuff to do for work so she wasn't home, as were their parents. There was a knock on the front door and Spencer saw Aria through the glass. She opened the door and walked the shorter girl to the kitchen. She noticed Aria was upset.
Spencer "You okay?"
Aria shook her head in response and walked closer to Spencer, wrapping her arms around her. The tall girl reciprocated the hug and held Aria close. She let her cry in her chest and rubbed circles on her back. Aria pulled away and wiped her tears.
Aria "Ezra and I broke up."
Spencer sighed. She didn't approve of their relationship at all, but her heart broke seeing Aria sad.
Aria "It's my fault. I screwed up our relationship because of some stupid joke!"
Spencer "No, it's not your fault. I initiated it-"
Aria "But I dragged it on! If I had just kept my mouth shut-"
Spencer "If had never tried to talk to you in the first place-"
Aria "Hey...I don't regret meeting you. I've actually...noticed a lot of things. I really care about you. And if we have time...we can really get to know each other."
Spencer smiled at Aria's words as the microwave went off. She took her dinner out and set it on the island in front of her.
Spencer "Well...I have time, do you?"
Aria "I have plenty."
