Stabbing and recovering

Aria walked through the halls dragging Spencer with her.

Aria "HELP!"

Mr. Cronan, the biology teacher, stepped out of his classroom and saw the two girls standing in the hallway covered in blood. He called one of his students to get the nurse and another to grab a handful of paper towels. While Mr. Cronan put pressure on the wound, Aria tried to keep the brunette awake.

Aria "What happened?!"

Spencer "He stabbed me with a rusty pair of scissors..hehe...he has terrible aim for a quarterback."

Aria "Quarterback...was it Charles?"

     Aria looked at her girlfriend, seeing her eyes slowly closing. She shook her to no avail. The paramedics came and took Spencer away on a stretcher. Aria looked around and saw the three jocks whispering and glaring at her.

Two days later

     Aria opened the door to the Hastings house and held it open for her girlfriend. Spencer went into the house with her crutches and sat down on the couch.

Spencer "Ahh...it smells like coffee and books...I love it."

     Aria chuckled and helped elevate Spencer's leg on the coffee table.

Spencer "Ow! I hate jocks."

Aria "We need to talk to your parents, they can get an arrest warrant-"

Spencer "No. I can't arrest everyone because they're jerks."

Aria "It's not about being a jerk Spencer they physically hurt you!"

Spencer "I'll take self defense classes."

Aria "...I'm serious. I don't want you to get hurt-"

Spencer "I'll be fine."

Aria "Fine?! Have you looked in the mirror lately?"

Spencer "No, I've been in a hospital bed."

Aria "Exactly! You've got a broken nose and a busted lip from three jocks. You can't just say 'I'll take self defense classes' and call it a day! They need to be arrested!"

Spencer "Aria...I don't want to fight about this."

Aria "Neither do I...but I want you safe. I love you."

Spencer "I love you too."

Spencer pulled her girlfriend close to her, letting Aria lean her head on the tall girl's chest.

Spencer "I will handle it okay? I'll talk to my parents when they get home. I just want to take a nap right now."

Aria nodded against the brunette and listened to her heartbeat as her girlfriend fell asleep.
