Spencer sat in the waiting room looking at her blood stained hands.
Aria "There's a bathroom over there if you want to wash your hands."
The tall brunette didn't answer.
Aria "You should clean them off."
No response.
Aria "Spencer, she's going to be okay."
Spencer "She was shot in the head Aria."
Aria "But she didn't bleed out. And the bullet got stuck in her brain it didn't go through."
Spencer "So What?!"
Aria "People can live from that! Remember that guy who attempted suicide by shooting himself and he lived because the bullet was stuck in his brain?"
Spencer "Clint Malarchuck?"
Aria "Yeah! The same guy who got sliced in the neck by a hockey skate and lived."
Spencer "Yeah Well that's rare. The team's doctor was right there to pinch his artery. It took minutes for the ambulance to arrive to get her."
Aria "I promise you. She will be okay."
Spencer "Don't make promises you can't keep."
The two sat in silence waiting for doctors to come. The school closed for the day and everyone got to go home. Veronica and Peter found out that their other daughter had been shot but didn't come to the hospital because they were upset that she had been released from Welby months prior without they knowing. They were at home watching Ava. Mary Drake walked into the waiting room.
Mary "What happened?!"
Spencer "This guy Noel he-"
Doctor "Code Blue! Patient Alex Drake, Code Blue!
A team of nurses ran by them with a crash cart.
Aria "What are they doing?"
Spencer "Her heart stopped. They're bringing in a crash cart to revive her."
Spencer slumped in her seat, hoping everything would be alright.
