Tanner

Spencer stood on the side of the road. Her car was out of gas and there were no street lights. She was waiting for the tow truck which would also bring the police. Every step she took while pacing made her think more about Aria. She hoped that whoever took her didn't hurt her or the baby. Oh god, the baby. Her child could be in danger and it made her more impatient while waiting.

     Soon, a tow truck and two police cars pulled up behind Spencer's car. She got out of the car and approached them. The tow man hooked her car to his truck and pulled it onto the back. Lieutenant Tanner stepped out of one of the cop cars from the passenger side and walked up to her.

Tanner "Spencer, Nice to see you again."

Spencer "Aria's missing she's been kidnapped."

Tanner "Kidnapped? How do you suppose that?"

     Spencer pulled Aria's glove out of her pocket and handed it over.

Spencer "I found it on the side of the road."

Tanner "What was it doing on the side of the road?"

Spencer "I don't know! She must have dropped it when she came out of the woods!"

Tanner "Why was she thinking in the woods?"

Spencer "(Sigh)...we're staying at my family's log cabin and and we got into a fight. She ran into the woods."

Tanner "A fight? Did it get physical?"

Spencer "What? No! Why are you questioning me like I did it?"

Tanner "We'll talk at the station."

Tanner walked away and Spencer sighed. She would never hurt Aria, but Tanner thought she did.
