Telling Ezra

     Ezra walked out of his classroom for lunch and locked the door. As he walked down the hall, a speeding Spencer Hastings crashed into him. The two fell on the floor in a heap of arms and legs. Ezra got up and pulled Spencer to the floor, noticing her heavy breathing.

Ezra "Spencer! What's going on?!"

The brunette only stood there hyperventilating with tears in her eyes. The teacher pulled his student into his chest and let her cry. He pulled her into his classroom and she sat down at a desk in the front. Ezra noticed the towel wrapped around the brunette's waist.

Ezra "What wrong Spencer?"

Spencer looked at her teacher with tears streaming down her face.

Spencer "I'm transgender. I was born a boy."

     Ezra grabbed the brunette's hand and smiled.

Ezra "What's wrong with that?"

Spencer "Noel Khan pulled down my shorts and pushed me into the pool. He embarrassed me in front of everyone."

     The young teacher was upset hearing this. If he wasn't a teacher, he would beat the life out of Noel Khan, the sleazy jerk.

Ezra "It's going to be okay. I'll handle the situation. Hey, you're still the same smart Spencer that aces every test, and smiles whenever we talk about poetry. I don't see you as anyone different...and know that you can talk to me."

     Spencer smiled and wiped her tears. She had always thought Mr. Fitz was just their teacher and some cutie every school girl wanted, but he was really a nice guy. Ezra took a pair of sweatpants out of his bag with the schools name "Rosewood High" and their mascot, the shark, and handed them to the brunette. Spencer took them to change.

Spencer "Thank you."
