Spoby reunion

Spencer walked into the station with her parents behind her. Melissa stayed at home to quote "Spend time with Jason." The young Hastings looked around for Aria and caught eye of someone from her past. She looked at the name tag on his desk, Toby Cavanaugh. The officer sat at his desk filling out reports when he felt eyes on him. Toby looked up and locked eyes with his old friend. He stood up from his chair and approached her.

Toby "Spencer?"

Spencer "Toby!"

The two stood staring for a moment before Spencer engulfed the tall boy in a hug. Toby hugged back, wrapping his long arms around his female friend and squeezing her tight, not wanting to let her go again. The two eventually pulled away and looked at each other with smiles.

Spencer "I didn't know you were back in Rosewood."

Toby "Yeah, I moved back a few months ago."

Spencer "That's great, I'm happy. Where are your parents?"

Toby "My Dad is Maine with his new wife and stepdaughter."

Spencer "Oh...and your mom?"

Toby "She Uh.....she died a few years ago."

Spencer "I'm so sorry Toby."

Toby "No it's...it's alright. Some freak accident on the roof."

Spencer nodded and suddenly realized why she came in the first place. She saw her parents talking to Tanner and looked back at Toby.

Spencer "I've gotta go. Talk another time?"

Toby "Sure."

The two shared another smile and Spencer walked to her parents. Toby sat back down at his desk. Connor approached his desk after watching their conversation from the coffee machine.

Connor "Is that the old friend you were talking about?"

Toby "Wow, stalker much?"

Connor "Hey, a guy makes a cup of coffee and sees his friends talking to a cute girl, I had to ask."

Toby "Yeah, That's her."

The men looked at Spencer talking with her parents. Connor looked at his friend and smiled.

Connor "She's cute."

Toby "Yeah..."
