At the cabin

The trio drove on the road to the cabin. Mike was staring at the sites outside, Aria was listening to music, and Spencer was driving, glancing at her girlfriend whenever she could and giving her a smile.

Spencer "Are you excited?"

Aria "Yeah, it's gonna be fun."

Spencer "I think so too. It will be nice to spend time with your dad, get to know him. Plus I get to snowboard."

Mike "Do you know how to snowboard?"

Spencer "Yeah. My family used to go to our log cabin for Christmas and we snowboarded down the mountain."

Mike "Your family has a cabin too?"

Spencer "Yep. A cabin for the winter, beach house for the summer, and the lake house is for spring and fall."

Spencer saw Mike's mouth hang in her rear view mirror, making her laugh.

Mike "I am definitely spending Christmas with your family."

Spencer "The more the merrier!"

After a few hours of silence with Aria and Mike asleep, Spencer finally arrived with her gps and pulled into the Montgomery cabin. The siblings woke up and moved their bags inside. Spencer walked into the cabin and looked around. It looked quite nice. Aria showed her to their room and she placed her suitcase on the bed to unpack.

Ella and Byron arrived some time after and went up to their room. Mike grabbed his new snowboard and was headed for the door.

Aria "You're going already?"

Mike "Yeah! I've gotta sign up for lessons at the store on the mountain!"

Spencer "You don't need lessons. Just give me five minutes and you'll be a pro, I promise."

Mike agreed and waited for Spencer to get ready. The brunette changed out of her jeans and put on snow pants. She grabbed her snowboard and went to the door when Aria grabbed her sleeve. She turned around and faced her girlfriend.

Aria "Be careful okay? I don't want you on crutches again."

Spencer "I promise to be careful, and keep Mike in one piece."

Spencer kissed Aria's forehead then her lips. She left with Mike to the slopes, leaving Aria alone with her parents.

Okay another author's note, (I promise this won't become a regular thing) I know it seems like I dropped Toby's story line but I kinda just don't know what to do with him for the rest of his story. Also, do you guys like Conner? Do you care if he comes back into the story or no? Cause I'll just have him stay in Detroit or something else and have Toby leave Rosewood or something. Let me know!
