Two Weeks Later

-Wynonna-

I sat on the couch in the hotel room looking at the latest shipment of supplies on my lap top. We ordered stuff every two days depending on what we used the most and this is how I had been keeping track of things. I hadn't been to any of the shows since my run in with Roman two weeks ago. I told Kaiser, Kelly and everyone that texted or called that I had came down with something and I didn't want to pass it to anyone. Honestly I just didn't want to be around anyone right now, just my daughter.

I spent my days either in a hotel room, by the pool with Swayze, touring the city, riding in a car to the next city with Kaiser and Swayze, or flying to the next state on a private plane. I kept my distance. Kelly hadn't came around since last week. I knew she didn't believe my story of being sick, but she was going to give me space. Jon and Renee had stopped bugging me to come over as well. It was like my life was going back to the way it was before we got into this deal, and I was sad to say I was actually enjoying the peace.

"Alright lady bugs, Daddy is going to head over to the arena to look over somethings." Kaiser replied as he walked from the bedroom into the open sitting room.

"So soon?" I asked looking up at the clock seeing it was two in the afternoon.

"I want to make sure I have everything in place baby." He leaned over pecking my lips, chuckling. "Our kid sleeps in the weirdest positions."

I glanced over and saw Swayze sprawled out on the couch with her arm over her eyes, legs crossed, and mouth wide. I smiled softly, remembering exactly who use to sleep like that, my heart strings pulled a bit.

"She was tired after that lunch date." I sighed, closing the lap top and turning to look at him. "How's everything been going?"

"Great." He sat on the back of the couch, placing a hand on mine. "It feels good to be back and working with everyone."

"Your doing great babe." I smiled, noticing how his smile reach his eyes. "I watched RAW Monday, the promo's were great."

"It's easier when the superstars are having fun." He sighed looking into my eyes. "Everyone has been asking about you."

"I know." I replied lowly.

"I told them you were feeling slightly better but the doctor told you to take it easy until you were ready to come back."

"Thank you baby." I smiled. He and I both knew I was fine and hadn't seen a doctor.

"Steph, Hunter and Uncle Vince said take all the time you need. Kelly seem's chill about it and your still handling inventory and ordering. Josie seems to be keeping up and the superstars miss you but they are content with her filling in right now." He explained, squeezing my hand. "But I will say, if Dean Ambrose asks me if I'm holding you captive one more time I'm going to commit a crime." He stood.

"Oh!" I laughed, looking up at him. "I know, I'm going to call him soon. I just needed some space."

"I understand. You've only been back for awhile and everybody started crowding you." He kissed my forehead. "Behave. I'll be back later okay?"

"Drive safe." I called as he walked out the door.

I looked toward Swayze and after he left, smiling at her innocence. She had been keeping me sane these past few weeks, and loved every minute of our time together. She missed everyone too, and I knew it wasn't fair to her to keep her away from everyone. I glanced at the door as I heard a few knocks.
