I sighed as I walked out of mine and Kelly's little room where we made all the superstars beautiful. We had about a 1 and a half hour window of resting before the show would officially start and I was looking forward to a tiny break. When you had over 30 superstars to help out with their appearance it became a bit overwhelming at times, but I honestly loved it at the same time. It was keeping my mind calm and free from roaming off to other things. I had been feeling an uneasiness all day that I just couldn't put my finger on no matter how hard I tried. Here I was in a building that had me surrounded by men and women that would ensure my safety, but yet a part of me felt unsafe. It was as if I was being watched and that was a very unsettling feeling.

"Where you off to fire fly?"

I smiled as I looked up from my phone to see Colby leaning back against an equipment box talking to Corey and Michael Cole.

"Well it's break time and I was in search of my love muffin." I winked with a smile. "Hey Cole, how are you."

"Doing really well, thank you. How are you Wynonna?" Cole smiled, shaking my hand.

"Awesome, everything is going good."

"So you two are done for a while?" Corey asked, looking down at his watch.

"Yes. We wont do final touch up until 30 minutes before showtime." I spoke, flicking Colby on the arm as he was typing away on his phone. He looked up, making one of his faces before lightly nudging me with his foot.

"Well where is your shadow?" Corey rose a brow, earning a small chuckle for Colby and Cole.

"Excuse you but I'm not her keeper." I giggled at his serious face. "Jeez, she's finishing up Ruby Riot and then she was going to come find you."

"See, was that so hard midget?" Corey replied, reaching out to pat my head.

"Watch it Graves." I growled, looking back toward Colby. "So, I'm looking for a certain locker room?"

"And?" Colby rose one of his brows, peeking at me from his phone.

"Would you like to give me directions so I'm not wondering around and possibly getting lost which would surely cause you to get your ass handed to you." I crossed my arms, smirking.

"Your lucky I love you." He chuckled, standing straight. "Alright guys, see ya out there." He shook both their hands before moving to walk next to me down the hall.

"So, now that we're finally alone, somewhat," I smiled, looking over at him. "How's married life?"

"It's actually pretty awesome." He smiled, wrapping an arm around my shoulders as we walked down the corridor. "I know we surprised everyone when we even began dating but I honestly don't know how I made it before I got with her Wy."

"Awe Colbs." I wrapped my arms around his waist, giving a slight squeeze as we continued.

"You know how I was in relationships before." I nodded. "I was kind of a douche bag and I see that now. With Leighla, Danielle, and Sara I was selfish and only thought of myself in the relationship. I was always wanting and never giving even though I'd never admit it then."

"Well, your one of my best friends and you know how I felt about Danielle so you get a free pass on that one." I spoke, earning a chuckle from him.

"It's so different with Pam man. She's never been afraid to call me out on my bullshit Wynonna." The smile on his face made mine grow. "It hit me all at once and I just knew that this was the woman who was going to change it all for me, and she did. I didn't tell anyone because I honestly didn't think people would take it seriously, but I love her so freakin' much. She's the mother ship for me."
