-Wynonna's POV-
RAW had been going off without a hitch. I had watched most of it backstage due to Joe not wanting me out of his sight since we had our time in his locker room hours earlier. I couldn't say I wasn't feeling the same. I felt as if our love and bond was now stronger than ever, and I could honestly say I couldn't wait to get my hands on him again later. Kelly and I had made our way up to the private box that Paul and Stephanie had kept just for their kids and Nannie. Haven and Maxwell where also enjoying the show from up here too and I had to say it was amazing seats. Joe's match was up next and he would be going against The Miz again. I knew he was excited to be performing in his hometown but also because tonight would be the last night that built up his reunion with The Shield. I too was very excited.
I was sitting in a chair with Haven on my lap, Kelly sat next to me with Maxwell on her's as Joe's music hit. I couldn't stop the smile that formed as the kids broke out in cheers, even though some boos could also be heard from the massive crowd. My eyes found him as he made his way out onto the stage and I knew our girls where going crazy back home with their grandparents. I couldn't help but admire Joe and the swagger he possessed. Weather he was getting booed or cheered, he still carried himself in such a manner that made you respect him. I was beyond proud of this man, even when he wasn't mine.
As the match began, I watched intently. I always watched Joe's matches closely because later on he would ask me what I thought about certain things that had happened throughout the match. If I felt like he needed to work on anything, if he had done something good, what I liked the most. It was our thing and it made me happy that he not only wanted me in his personal life, but he wanted to share his career with me as well.
It was around the middle of the match when I started to see some movement to my left. I took my eyes off the match, looking out over the crowd with intrigued eyes, wondering what the fuss was about. I could see people moving around, turning and looking up at some commotion that had broken loose between two security guards and a hooded man. I glanced back down toward the ring to see that Joe had glanced up at the commotion as well before going back to this match. Haven had moved off my lap, so I stood, crossing my arms as I walked over closer to the glass. I kept an eye on the commotion, something inside me telling me to. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but it just didn't seem right.
"Whoa, what a spear!" I heard Maxwell call out.
I turned my attention back down to the ring to see Joe had in fact speared Miz, but didn't go for a pin. Instead he stood, looking back out into the crowd, making me take notice that most of the people had turned as well. I turned my attention back down to the crowd as well, and what I saw next made my heart leap out of my chest. The hooded man that the security men had been in a tussle with grabbed one around the neck, pulled a gun out and shot the other man right between the eyes, before turning the gun on the other man, dropping him as well. Suddenly loud shots began to ring out everywhere, followed by screams and panic.
"Oh my god!" Kelly screamed, behind me. "Get down!"
My eyes where glued to the hooded man, who I now noticed had a mask over his face, as he somehow pulled out another gun, and began to release fire. People ran around him, jumped over seats, laid flat on their stomach, anything to not be hit by the bullets. My eyes took notice of a second masked man that came out near the box we where in, a gun in his hand as he too began to fire off shots.
"Wynonna get away from the damn windows!" Kelly's frantic voice shouted.
I turned looking down towards the ring to see Joe was no where in sight, just running bodies everywhere. I ducked down, my back pressed against the wall as panic ran through me. Nothing but loud screams and shots could be heard as my eyes looked around the room. Kelly had her body covering her children who clung to their mother for dear life. Paul and Stephanie's children where hidden under a table with their Nannie, all crying as well. My heart was beating so fast in my chest as I tried to wrap my mind around what was actually happening. People where releasing open fire into a live WWE event that was usually surrounded with wall to wall security. No one got inside without being thoroughly searched, ever.
