I chuckled loudly as I sat across from my husband at our dinner table. He was discussing his day in full detail and telling me about his adventure over video conference with his family. Kaiser had a playful relationship with his McMahon family and it was always a blast whenever we would end up meeting up for family vacations or bar b q's.
"Shane's a nut." I chuckled as I sipped my wine.
"Yeah, he was asking about us coming out for a visit and taking the boat on the water. Been a while since we visited." He commented, letting his eye's linger on me before taking another bite of his salmon.
"I know. We will, just have to schedule it right." I took a deep breath.
"So how was Swayze today?" Kaiser asked with a smile.
"Good, no breakdowns which I was so surprised about. She really enjoys being at the shop and around the girls. So fascinated about hair coloring." We both laughed. "It's so adorb's."
"The little monster was so tired she didn't even finish her chicken tenders." he smiled brightly. "You ladies wore her out."
"Yeah. She loves it when Kelly is around because she is so spoiled." I shook my head. "Speaking of which, Kels was all excited this morning about something that Corey had told her on the phone but she refused to tell me until you talked to me."
"Is that so?" He picked up his glass, sipping the dark liquor out of it.
"So, what's up honey?" I asked, sitting my fork down on my plate.
"Well, I told you we reached a deal about the pay-per-view so I will have to venture to headquarters for that. But also, Uncle Vince would like me to travel with the team this summer into fall to help out in production. Justin is taking some time off since his father passed to make sure his mom is good. And seeing as I've worked production for the company before it would be a breeze." He explained with a smile.
"Really? That's great babe. I know how much you miss being around them. When would you start?" I asked, seeing as it was coming up on April now.
"In the next two weeks if your cool with it."
"You know I am. I wouldn't keep you from your job Ki." I smiled.
"Well, there is something else baby." He reached for my hands, which I placed in his.
"This is the part where I need my wine." We both chuckled.
"Stephanie called me the other day, the hair team was let go again. So, she wondered if you would be interested in coming along with me this summer and working, help train some new girls that way when we come back home she'll have a good team again."
My smile instantly fell. When I left WWE 3 years back I didn't have any intentions on venturing back. Yes I was married into the McMahon family, but I did a good job of keeping my distance from all things WWE. I kept myself and Swayze away from all camera's, events, and visits to the company. I changed my number and deleted all social media accounts when I left. What friends I associated with that were still in the company where very slim and very trustworthy. I didn't want to venture back there for a reason, a HUGE reason. And I knew he was more than likely still a big deal in the company.
"C'mon babe, you love your job and the superstars love your work. Kelly told Steph that if you where on board she was too, but she won't do it without you."
"Kaiser," I sighed, removing my hands from his. "You know how I feel about this."
"Wynonna, I know what you tell me and I try to be understanding about you not wanting anything to do with the business anymore, but you wont give me a solid reason as to why. I've never been pushy about it baby, but c'mon, you love doing hair and you loved to travel when I first met you."
"Kaiser we have a 2 year old daughter. How can you work and I work there with Swayze in tow?" I asked.
"Baby, Kelly and Corey have two children that will be traveling along as well. You know Steph has an amazing team on staff because of her children and they will extend their services so we can work when needed, and all the other times she'll be with us experiencing travel."
"I just.....I don't know. I have the salon now, the house. Kaiser we have a life here. It's not how it was when we first met. We've laid down roots here."
"I've already got it lined up where George could handle the salon for you and Kelly and the house will be fine baby. We can do this, but the ball is in your court. Honestly I don't want to go and spend all that time away from my girls but if your that against traveling with the company again, I'll have to live with it."
"Can I think on it?" I sighed, to which he broke out into a huge smile.
"2 weeks baby. But Steph would like to know sooner so she can have the things ready for your arrival. Of course she would announce your return to the road, but take your time baby."
I nodded, smiling as he stood walking over and bending down pecking my lips. I sighed as I sipped on the remaining wine in my glass as Kaiser worked on clearing the table. There where so many pro's and con's to me even considering doing this, but I knew it was an amazing opportunity. I had done it before for nearly 5 years and it was the best time in my life. My thoughts where interrupted by Kaiser answering his ringing cell phone.
"Yea?" he spoke, resting the phone between his ear and shoulder as he scrapped off food into the disposal. I smiled as I heard him begin a conversation with Corey.
"Tell him to relay the message to his wife that I'll be calling her in the morning." I replied as I walked over, placing my wine glass in the dishwasher. "I love you." I whispered as I kissed his cheek and headed toward the bedroom.
