Lisa's P.O.V.

I woke up at 6am, literally feeling like the whole world was spinning round and round from sleep deprivation. I looked at the wall in front of me, seeing nothing but blurry white. I noticed that Taehyung's bed was empty - he must've woke up before me. Weird, I thought. I'm usually the one that wakes up first in this dorm.

I sighed and tried to make my stiff bones stretch in order to get up. I mentally searched every corner of my body to pull together every bit of energy I had, till I realized there was no energy left in me. After half a night of crying, yelling and throwing up, I was surprised I was even alive.

Once I was convinced I should get out of bed, I tried to get off it and realized a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist was stopping me. Usually I wouldn't be worrying about it - I'd know it's Jungkook, but that fucker dumped me, so why do I find someone cuddling me when I wake up? I was confused. I turned around and looked who it was.

I widened my eyes in complete shock.

Oh, shit.

"Taehyung!" I whisper-shouted. "Wake up! Ah, you-"

I grabbed his shoulders and shook him as slowly as I could to wake him up - he seemed deep asleep, so deep that I was dramatically afraid he was dead. He slowly opened his eyes like a newborn kitten, stretched and groaned as if he hadn't gotten any rest at all.

"Ah, Lisa, I-"

We both looked around the room, avoiding each other's gazes. It was probably one of our most awkward moments ever, since usually we only had normal, friendly conversations. Ever since we had become college roommates last year, we were nothing but best friends, so waking up with his arms wrapped around my waist right after I had gotten dumped was more than just weird to me. He never really gave signs of liking me as more than just his best friend that is by chance the opposite gender.

"Good morning, Lisa", he said. "I'll...uhhh..."

Without finishing his sentence, he jumped out of my bed and rushed to the bathroom. I heard the shower water running for hardly 10 minutes, and the moment it stopped, the bathroom door unlocked and he leaped out of there, grabbing his dorm keys and money from the kitchen table and walking rapidly towards the entrance door. at all. The whole time being he did not look at me once, he did not talk to me either - which I found unusual for us, that had a very casual friendship.

"Aren't you gonna eat-" I began, but was interrupted by the sound of the entrance door slamming against the wall, so powerfully it almost moved the pictures hung up on it.

I frowned and pouted, not understanding what was going on with Tae that morning. Okay, I understand he's feeling awkward, but why is he acting like we don't know each other? We could've just talked and sorted things out together. But, no, for him it's easier to just leave like we're strangers. That guy really manages to confuse me, like, all the time.

Forgive him, my inner angel told me. He didn't mean to hurt or confuse you, he just feels awkward. It's gonna pass very soon, I promise.

Act mad, my inner devil told me. He's playing with your mind, Lisa. You're a lady, you can't allow him to treat you like that even if you're not together.

I was in such an advanced state of confusion that I didn't even have a vague idea of whether I should listen to the devil or angel. Usually I listened to the devil which wasn't a very good habit of mine, but this time something on the inside told me that listening to the devil was not going to end my troubles. Well straight up, it never did, but this time I knew that it wasn't going to help either.
