Lisa's P.O.V.

Barely two weeks had passed and, unexpectedly, some things had changed. It was the last week of university before winter break, which meant the first semester of the school year was almost over. Jennie and I were excited about spending Christmas together - my student loan did not allow me to visit Thailand, so I therefore could not spend time with my family, so I was going to go to her family's house and sleep over there on Christmas Eve.

Since Soyeon and Jungkook broke up, I became good friends with her and we liked to trash-talk him together. Let's admit it, I knew he was an absolute douche that did not deserve my attention, but deep inside I still shook and couldn't look him in the eye when he passed me. Eh, it was probably just awkward, but I knew I still had little feelings for him. But I was mostly over, you know. Anyways, I didn't embrace the opportunity of befriending Soyeon till she broke up with Jungkook because I thought she was a bitch to have let my boyfriend cheat on me with her, but turns out she was a very friendly person and I really enjoyed being friends with her. We indeed fought about thrice, but that didn't matter at all now.

The moment I opened my eyes I picked up my phone from near my bed and checked the time.

11:09am.

Holy shit! It's so late!

"TAE!" I yelled as I leaped out of bed and put on my fluffy wolf slippers, hurrying to the bathroom.

Yes, I am 20, but who doesn't love fluffy animal slippers?

I was expecting Tae to still be lying in bed and to not even have woken up, but I was wrong. He was in the kitchen savoring a cup of hot coffee, already dressed up elegantly and all.

"Tae?" I asked, rubbing my eyes as they widened in shock

"Tae?" I asked, rubbing my eyes as they widened in shock. "How are you awake before me? What time did you wake up?"

I knew it was Sunday, so we didn't have classes, and usually he loved to sleep in and rarely went out. Actually, more honesty included, he never went out on Sundays - just like Jennie. Not even to Starbucks. Well, when he was mad or sad, he took an uber and went to the basketball court nearby to play by himself and drown in his sorrow, but since he had a fresh relationship now, he would have no reasons to be in the blue.

"A-Are you planning to go out today?" I asked awkwardly after staring at him for a minute. He put his cup of coffee on the table slowly and sighed, but didn't say anything as a response to my question - just continued looking at me as if he was testing me to wait for my answer or something.

"Tae?" I asked again. I slowly got closer to him, and for God knows what reason I was starting to get scared as my steps got faster. I decided to slow down. "Are you here with me?"

The moment I was a cm away from him, I stared at the details of his face. He did not look at me - he still looked at the empty spot that I was standing on as I spoke mainly.

"BOOP!" he yelled. He immediately turned his head towards my face and booped my nose with his index finger, bursting into laughter.

"TAE!" I yelled back, laughing along. "You scared the fuck out of me, I thought something actually happened!"

"Well, sorry", he said sarcastically. "I was having fun seeing your terrified face."

"Fuck off!"

"Hey, don't you dare swear at me like that!" he raised his voice at me, his laughter still not stopping though. He was giving me the 'protective older brother' kind of attitude, which I loved but also hated at times - you know, like actual siblings.

"So?" I asked as our laughter settled down a little. "Where are you going that you're dressed up so fancily? Some Gucci fashion show?"

"No", he dead-panned replied, "but somewhere very important."

"Ah, you're being mysterious again, huh?" I asked, a slight smirk forming on my face. "I see. Where are you going though? Come on, you can't not tell me."

"None of your business", he said and pulled out the same cheeky smile that he had on his face last night. "See you!"

He picked up the dorm keys and his phone from the kitchen table, put them in his jacket's pocket, and hurried to leave.

"TAE!" I yelled for the hundredth time today. "Where the fuck are you going?!"

"Bye!" he said as he left the room and slammed the door behind him.

I pouted and crossed my arms to my chest the moment he left.

How dare he be so disrespectful to me?

I sighed and went back to my bed.

Well, if Tae's not here today I guess I can sleep more, right?

I closed my eyes right the moment I lied back onto my bed, but found myself not being able to fall back asleep, so I picked up my phone and decided to waste my time on social media instead.

I opened Instagram and was ready to scroll through the feed looking for the Off-White winter collection when I got a text from Soyeon.

I smiled evilly to myself.

Aha, so that's where Tae was hurrying! He had a date with Yuqi!

For some unknown reason, hearing that left an empty spot inside my stomach, but I decided not too give it much attention. It's just prejudice, honey, I kept telling myself. She's popular, she dated many boys, they're all crazy about her, but...it's his first relationship ever since the first high school year, and you want to see him happy, right? Come on, give her a chance.

I decided to embrace the idea of Yuqi and Taehyung's relationship and to ignore that her and I were not so close, and I acted satisfied and proud of it, but...

Frankly, it wasn't really so.
