Lisa's P.O.V.
Once we got back to the dorm I realized Tae was unusually quiet. I wouldn't have questioned it if he wouldn't have been Tae, but I know him, and he is usually not quiet at all - he liked to talk nonsense and laugh.
"Tae?" I asked on the stairs up to our dorm. "Is everything okay?"
He nodded and mumbled a "mhm" but it did not sound honest nor confident.
"Tae", I sighed. "Don't lie. Is everything okay? Like, for real?"
"Well..."
He sighed and took a deep breath
"This is not easy for me to talk about", he began, sorrowfully looking down. "But...Yuqi and I broke up."
"WHAT?!" I exclaimed, not feeling able to believe it at all. "How?! You seemed so happy together."
"Well, not really-"
"Who broke up with who?"
"Um-"
"She broke up with you, right?! She did! Ah, that bitch, I always knew something was wrong with her and her loyalty in relationships!"
I screeched my teeth as I spoke, getting madder each word I pronounced.
"She is a bad person", I continued, trying to slow down. "You shouldn't ever get back together with her if she dumped you for no fucking reason. Learn to elevate yourself, Taehyung."
"Lisa, you didn't even let me finish my phrase", he sighed and rolled his eyes slowly. "She didn't dump me. I dumped her."
"W-What?"
I was in such a state of confusion that I did not understand anything. I knew how much Tae loved Yuqi - he spent sleepless nights texting her, he took her out everywhere she wanted to go with him, he always smiled and was energetic around her, and he even offered to fly to China with her so she could visit her family during summer break because she was afraid of flying by herself. And now he dumped her after his dream of being together with her finally came true? I couldn't believe my ears.

"H-How? A-and why?" I asked as I managed to breathe enough so I could talk. "I...I thought you were happy in this relationship."

"I thought I was too", he sighed and bit his lip in pity. "But, I realized it wasn't true. She was too...obsessed with me, or so. I don't know how exactly to explain, but...I didn't like it. She made me make promises that I'll never leave her whatever happens and we haven't even been dating for a full week, which...made me feel pressured. And..."

He started tearing up but tried not to show it and immediately wiped his tears with his green hoodie's sleeve before they even started rolling down his cheeks.

I sighed too, and hesitated for a second but got my courage and gave him a big hug. The warmth that he hugged me back with made me shake again which I found very strange.

Why did I shake when he touched me? This never happens to us usually. Am I okay?

I ignored my thoughts and decided to give him some more time to tell me about his problem.

"Let's go back to the dorm", I said in a warm, yet emotionless voice. "We can talk more there."

We walked down the hallway for a few more seconds till we got to the room. We entered, turned on the lights, locked the entrance door and took off our coats. It was nearly Christmas break, so it was really cold outside, and we were glad to finally feel the heat on the inside.

"Hungry?" I asked him as I headed towards our little kitchen.

"Nah", he said, and sighed for the hundredth time in the last ten minutes. "Eating is the last thing I want to do now."

"Are you sure?" I asked with a peculiar smile, a little something like a smirk. "How about pancakes? You know, the soft ones, that you used to love back in high school."

"Jeez, Lisa", he said, giving me a somewhat weird look. "You remember what I liked back in high school? You're creepy."

"No, I'm not", I protested. "It was literally all you ever ate. Soft pancakes with chocolate sauce! Plus, even if you wouldn't have told me, I would've known - who doesn't love them?!"
