New Allies

Starfire's eyes snapped open and she sat up. The people around her flinched at her sudden awakening. They then smiled and cheered.

"She's awake, yo!" A boy wearing a loose T-shirt and bandana exclaimed as he danced on the spot. Astro grinned and mimicked him. A large yellow robot who was munching on a cookie frowned slightly and held his stomach.

"All this sleeping is making me hungry." He admitted. A much smaller bird-like robot huffed and flew up to the larger robot.

"You're always hungry!" She cried. Starfire stared at the odd group with furrowed brows. She then looked down at her arm and saw that it was repaired.

"Who fixed my arm?" She asked and looked up at everyone questioningly. A robot with four arms smiled and took out a handful of tools.

"Leave it to Reggie! Is what I'd like to say but I didn't fix you up. It was the professor." Reggie stated as he stood to the side to reveal an old man, who looked a lot like Dr Elephan. Starfire's eyes widened as the professor smiled at her.

"Why hello there. My name is Dr O'shay. How are you feeling?" He asked. Starfire jumped off the bench she was lying on and twisted her arm around. She then smiled and nodded in satisfaction.

"Woah, you did pretty good, doc! I'm guessing it was the brat who carried me here?" She presumed as she turned to look at Astro. Dr O'shay nodded and looked down at the small cheerful robot.

"He sure did. Astro was very upset when he brought you here. You were in quite the predicament." Dr O'shay said. Starfire glanced at Astro as he smiled at her. She then shook her head.

"Um, thanks, for helping me and all." Starfire mumbled. Astro beamed brightly at her. He then poked her in the hip.

"Touch!" A tick mark appeared on Starfire's head and she pushed Astro away from her.

"Stop touching me! It's really getting on my nerves!" She shouted. Astro grinned at her and continued to poke her. Th fiery robot let out an infuriated sigh and shook her head. "Geez, you're as bad as Princess's kid." She mumbled. Her eyes then widened in realisation. "Wait... Princess! Damn it, we got separated!" She cried.

Everyone gave her a confused look as she clenched her fists and gritted her teeth. Astro blinked up at her.

"Who's Princess?" He questioned. Starfire turned towards him.

"She's a queen I know. She was with me when I fell. I need to find her before Error comes back." Starfire explained. Dr O'shay walked up to Starfire and met her with a frown.

"Who is Error? Where did you come from?" He questioned. Starfire eyed the questioning man in annoyance and pushed herself up.

"I came from another timeline! My real name is Y/n, but everyone else calls me Starfire. Stupid nickname if you ask me, but whatever. Anyways, Error is a guy who's looking kill every Y/n in the multiverse. We're at war with him." She explained.

Everyone fell silent at this. The boy wearing the sweat band then looked down and furrowed his brow.

"Yo...that isn't cool yo..." He mumbled. Astro glanced at him and frowned.

"Ken...what's a war?" Everyone held their breath as Astro asked this question. They then heard the door squeak open and turned towards it to see a much younger Y/n holding onto the door handle while watching you. Astro smiled and ran towards her.

"Y/n!" He exclaimed and hugged her. Y/n flinched slightly and smiled.

"H-hello, Astro." She squeaked. Starfire frowned. She then walked towards Astro and dragged him back.
