Their hands burned upon impact with the fiery rock as the pair struggled to push back the meteor. They clenched their jaw and pushed their arms to the limit. You watched with a worried gaze as the two worked hard while Little attempted to cheer them on.
"Hey, I think you're pushing it back!" He exclaimed. He then squinted his eyes at the meteor and shook his head. "Wait, never mind. It was just my imagination." A tick mark appeared on Starfire's head as she glared at him.
"Go home!" She shouted. You sweat dropped. You then looked down at the orange wisp in your hands as she smiled softly.
"It's alright, Second. I'm here..." You breathed. A pair of icy cold hands pressed down on your shoulders and someone whispered into your ear.
"And so am I." Your eyes widened and you whipped your body towards him. Error smirked and snapped his fingers. Everyone watched with wide eyes as a vortex of darkness engulfed your body and disappeared with you in it. Alpha gasped and reached out for you.
"RED!" He cried. Essence of the vortex lingered in the air as he stared at the spot you once stood in with a perplexed expression. He then glowered and angrily turned towards Error. "Damn you! Where did you take her!?" He shouted. Error gave him a smug look and crossed his arms over his chest.
"As if I'd tell you. I've won this battle, Alpha, and you know it. The puppet is now in my possession and with it, I can finally track down Seventh." Error stated and cackled. Alpha shot a nasty glare at the other Astro and he aimed his blade at his neck.
"Why do you want to destroy her that much!? What made you think that Y/ns are a corruption!?" Alpha shouted. A shadow was casted over Error's eyes and he eyed Alpha with disdain. He then let out a heavy sigh.
"It's so simple, how can you not see it? The alpha timelines! She doesn't exist in a single one of them! So why does she exist in the omega ones!? Where did her existence come from, and why is she so damn important!?" Error shouted, making Alpha frown.
"Omega..."
"DON'T CALL ME THAT! My name is Error, not Omega! I refuse to go by that name, by the name SHE gave me." Error spat with such hatred, Alpha felt his chest tighten. "You know my cause, all I'm doing is making things right. Now let me ask you this, why are YOU doing this? Why are you working so hard to protect the lives of every Y/n in existence? Is it because you love her? You were always clingy." Error stated.
Alpha eyed Error with a distasteful glance. He then furrowed his brow and looked down at his shoes. He protected you for a reason, but what was it? Something inside of him just screamed at him to protect you.

You banged your fist on the wall of the enclosed dimension that you were in and cried out.
"Let me out! Error!" You screamed and continuously banged your fist on the dimensional wall. You then let out a heavy sigh and looked down at the orange wisp lying in your hands.
"Oh Second, what do I do? If I stay here any longer, then Error will come back and find out who I really am...! What do I do...?" You whispered with a hint of desperation in your wavering voice. You then glanced back at the enclosing darkness that was already threatening to consume you.
You swallowed hard and turned towards the wall. You then bit your lip and raised your free hand to your chest.
"I...this is going to be risky, but I have no choice. I...have to release it in order for me to get out of here..." You whispered and looked down at the soul with a silent gaze. You then smiled sadly at it. "Just wait for me, I'll protect you." You breathed and closed your eyes. You then pressed the soul against your chest and absorbed it. "Stay there, you'll be safe. Now," you stood to your feet and clenched your fists as your eyes flashed a deep red. "It's time."
