The Start of A New Day

You sat on the balcony leading from your room as you stared out into the open field. The sky was blue, the grass was green, it was another beautiful day. But you were running short of time.

You felt the soft cool breeze against your skin and let out a wistful sigh.

"There you are." You turned behind you and saw Alpha smile at you from your bedroom door. He then approached you and sat by you. You kept a careful gaze on him as he looked over the beautiful sight laid out before him. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" You nodded and returned your gaze towards the open field.

"It is." Alpha glanced at you out of the corner of his eye nervously. He then smiled at you.

"Is something on your mind?" He adked. Your eyes softened and you softly nodded your head.

"Yes, many things, Astro. Many things..." You trailed off. Astro frowned and turned towards you.

"What's on your mind?" He asked. You curled your fingers into your palm and bit your lip. You then smiled at him.

"Astro, can we spend the day together? Just the two of us?" You requested. Astro gave you a look of surprise. His face then contorted in excitement and nodded his head exstastically.

"Of course! I'd gladly do that with you. So, what did you want to do first?" He asked as he practically bounced in his seat with his excitement. You looked forwards and rocked your legs back and forth as you hummed thoughtfully to yourself.

"I'd like to visit the town." You admitted. Astro nodded and stood up. He then offered his hand to you and chuckled.

"Well? Shall we go then?" You slipped your hand into his and smiled.

"Yes." Astro pulled you up and picked you up bridal style.

"Let's go then!" He exclaimed before jumping off the balcony and flying off towards the town. Error watched as the two of you flew away and sighed.

"She's acting up..." He muttered under his breath. Arame appeared at his side and smiled at him.

"Hey, since they're having their own day of fun, maybe we should do something as well." She suggested. Error glanced at her.

"We need to prepare." He stated as he walked passed her. Amare pouted and slumped slightly. She then followed after him.

You and Astro smiled at the scenery of the human town. Kids ran down the streets playing, venders were selling goods to the townspeople, residents were talking, everything seemed so peaceful.

You and Astro walked along the streets hand in hand. Astro felt his insides burst with happiness as you and him walked in true bliss. He couldn't believe this was actually happening. He was on a date with you! You looked around in wonder. You hadn't visited the human town in a very long time.

"So, what should we do first?" Astro asked as he turned towards you. You smiled up at him.

"Well, I'm not sure. What do you want to do?" Astro's eyes widened slightly. He then scratched his cheek in thought. You watched him as he beamed with happiness and his eyes sparkled.

"I want to visit a cafe. I've never had the chance to try sweets before." Astro admitted. Your eyes widened in surprise.

"Really? You've never had sweets before?" Astro shook his head. You hummed in thought. You then smiled and pulled him along. "Come on then. I know of the perfect place!" You exclaimed. Astro nodded and followed behind you.

You and Astro stared at the old shut down building in disappointment. You then sighed and looked down at the ground.
